I was pleased by the comments made by 84 champ.He is right MC looked out of sort friday night.Much more physical opponent in CC.I believe the answer lies in a new head coach, maybe wrong guy for the job.Until we can locate 1 is it possible for 84 champ to be the guy, very inciteful and football smart.

Trevor and lhs9898 - What is with you lebanon people? If you hate him so much and love to blame everything on him then why aren't you happy that he is gone? Let him be. I don't know why you both think he had so much power at lebanon. He and Brown were friends. Brown must be a pretty weak man if he had to listen to anyone besides himself! Get off his case! It's basketball season in Lebanon so go and have a good season with your new coach.

Trevor, Do EVERYONE a favor and drop the subject. Obviously folks in lebanon like to blame things on Coach J. Fine, if that's what they need to do then so be it. Just be happy he is gone on to bigger and better things. He is doing well at Stratford so be happy for the team and leave the issue alone. It makes no sense to bash a man for doing well.

To lhs9898, What is wrong with you? Now that LHS is out of the playoffs you have to come where you are not wanted and bad mouth Coach J. Stop being the racist that you are and just "stink up" the fact that he was, is, and will be a GREAT coach. He is not a backstabber or a liar and stop trying to wreck his reputation. I am so happy he is out of LHS where 1/2 the people are open minded enough to see past his color and appreciate the man that he is and the other 1/2 are still living in the racist past of Lebanon. At Stratford he is appreciated. This message board started out about the game so you have NO BUSINESS on it because you don't support either team that will be playing Friday night. He has NEVER wished anything bad on anyone at LHS so get off his case. Sorry I had to post this here but being the coward that you are you had your email blocked. I would have prefered to do this in private. This will definately be a great game. Both teams have good talent obviously or else they would not have made it this far. Of course I am for Stratford! Can you tell. As far as the package, I saw it myself and the return label came from Clarksville. I told you he is not a liar. He's a busy man, he doesn't have the time to make up lies! We don't hate you guys!! We LOVE you!!! I am so proud to say that my husband is your head coach!! You are all a wonderful bunch of guys and you are ALL like family to us Now it is time to start a new chapter, GO TO STATE! No one but our group of fans seems to respect us so as Coach J would say "we must go in and TAKE that respect!!" You know what, you MJHS fans are really giving your own school a bad name. Our regular announcer could not be at the game so we had a fill in. It was the first time he ever called a game and I think he did a fine job. Get off his case. If the kids on the field are listening to the announcer then they are not focused. The bands of Metro are quite different but that does not make them bad (as a matter a fact I saw plenty of your own band members dancing to the SHS band tune as they were preparing for halftime). I have read you all complaining about everything but the game itself. The fact of the matter is that you lost and we won. You're just mad because you are out of the playoffs. You had a much better season than you have in the last couple of years so you should be happy about that and get off of Stratford. Coach Johnson has done wonders with the boys and the football program. Mrs. Elliott has done great things within the school. Just face the fact that you played an excellent team. Not taking anything away from you but stop making excuses for your loss. If you open your minds a little bit you will see that East Nashville does not = horrible things. There are bad people and decisions everywhere. Mt. Juliet is not perfect either.

Guess what kid, I am not Coach Johnson, I am his wife!!! AND VERY PROUD OF IT!! He never looks at Coach T! I won't let him because this often turnes into a critics column. He and the other coaches put in way too much time and energy to be slammed by anyone. I only look at it once a year and that is only because I hear of someone personally slamming my husband. Do me one favor kid, TRY and be supportive tonight for your team. Negative attitudes spread faster than wildfire!

Listen kid, I figured out long before you told the world that you played for the team (or should I say ride the bench for the team). It's obvious that you don't get any playing time because you "see" so much of what is going on. If your team was more united rather than segregated and blaming everything on the black athletes then maybe all of you would have more success and stop blaming the coaches for your shortcomings. The coaches only coach, they can't play. If they could I guarantee that your little punk butt would have quit the team a long time ago. They spend most of their time at the field house trying to make you all better athletes and people, rather than at their own houses spending time with their families. You should try to be man enough to quit the team since you hate it so much. I hope LHS wins Friday because the coaches and most players put a lot of time and energy into this team but I'm sure that more players have your attitude and that unfortunately may show through. As for the relationship between Vandever and Coach Johnson. I can tell you for sure that there are no personal problems on the side of Coach Johnson. He is extremely professional and plays the best players and since you think you know so much you should also know that Coach Johnson doesn't even coach the receivers nor Vandever. Why don't you do the team a favor and QUIT!!!
