Creekerfan - WHY GO THERE! That's narrowmindedness, otherwise you would not have made that comment, yet you want ALL to succeed, very contradictive! WHY is it that all kids do not participate in all sports? To my understanding and the surrounding area, Unaka sports is the only school that is divided.......There are many kids who are playing basketball, yet are not participating in other sports such as football, baseball......tell me....

No argument here , yet it is a hugh debate with some regarding this matter. Granted, the team fellows would benefit from their return, yet what is FAIR! TEAMWORK - several doing a part but all subordinating prominence to the efficiency of the whole..... therefore, they have failed! The community shows their support to those young men that have stayed with the program - then, now and forever.

My dispute is how is this fair to those hard UNAKA young men who have practiced throughout the summer and evenings IF those individuals returned to play? THOSE who have stayed with the program and have endured the severity need to be the focus of UNAKA football team, not the ones that backed out when needed most....Several players are not recognized for their efforts while playing - yet to bring those who failed back - will be topic....
