I have a question for bigB76. I want an honest answer if you may. You seem to know football so I will trust your answer. When MC played Portland this year what happened to them? I watched Portland and they did not impress me at all. My feeling was, and it could be wrong, that MC may have feared the panters for some odd reason. Who knows, I was just wondering.

Let me just give my two cents worth as usual. I want MC to do well for several reasons. The main one is this, Coach Goolsby got the shaft when the head coaching job became available in SC. He had taken a couple of junior high teams undefeated or just had one loss each year. Now don't get me wrong I LOVE coach Maynord, heck if he ran for mayor I would vote for him, but I want Goolsby to suceed so everyone can see what we missed out on by not keeping him here. So it is not me that doesn't want to see the staff do well, cause I do. And for the BIG ONES contest, I guess neither one of us is doing to great, LOL!!! see-ya SOON!!

Now wait a minute, jealous?? We have the same record as the tigers. We have a good team EVERY year, not just this one so the BIG OWLS are not jealous but I cannot speak for the rest of the region. good luck the rest of the year and until we meet again!!

I do cheer for macon howeverm if york beats yall and we win out like we should then we are the region champs. no one is treating yall bad, at least i am not. i am happy and proud of the way macon has done this year

First of all you are not completely on top, you are tied. You will be on top IF you can beat York. You should beat York and finish number one but some tough times lie ahead in week 2 of the playoffs and if you win from there on out!! I personally don't see MC representing the region in the playoffs in the 3rd round but i maybe wrong.

Here is what I think. First of all let me say that I am a big SC fan. OK, MC is number one in the region right now in my opnion. However, its really pointless who is cause the team will have to play again in the second round of the playoffs anyway so the second season will begin and what happened before doesn't matter. I hope macon wins out and SC takes care of Portland like they should so MC can win the region.

If LA loses, then no playoffs for them! It is a must win! I see Portland by two touchdowns!!

A couple of things to say here. First of all congrats to SC and especially to the offensive line!!!! good hard fought football game on both sides. another thing is way to hold on at the end cause the refs tried to give it to them!! last but not least is for macon county, boys go to the creek bank and don't be intimidated and take it to them, show them that you are for real. i am HUGE SC fan and I think ya'll can beat TC!!
