I don't care if Satterfield did come to MCHS you will not win in this region! Period! Goolsby is head coach and will be a good one that will teach these boys more than just football. That should be your main concern. You should at the very least support who has been hired and give him a chance to succeed.

For each win he gets this year he gets to stay another year as head coach huh? What if Clint Satterfield was the coach this year, would you still say that? I already know you truthful answer so you do not have to respond. Give the guy a chance instead of bad mouthing him on an internet chat board. I guess that is the typical response I expected from you though. Its that kind of mindset that will keep football a problem in Macon County.

You really shouldn't bad mouth someone that you do not know. I can guarantee you that coach Goolsby is fully deserving of the head coaching job and that he is a very honest man. I have personally played on a team that he was involved with and I can assure you he will do a good job at Macon County. He might not win alot of games this year but look at the region that Macon is in. Smith and Trousdale both would have trouble competing in that region and both teams have had alot of success in the recent years. If people will just leave him alone and let him coach things will be just fine. He will restore pride to Macon County football the fans just need to be patient and have faith in him. He will not disappoint.

Cory McDonald was a good CB when he was allowed to play there. What about Jesse Davis on the O-Line and Sid Enoch? If Maynord would have had Jesse's group his senior year we could have done some damage!

Tenniswhoever, first of all you should NEVER mention MC and TC in the same sentence when talking about football cause that will NEVER be. SUPERIOR???? That is the funniest thing I have ever heard on hear!!! The two teams are pretty evenly matched but SC is just a little better. Combine being a little better with a bitter taste from last time and that is an equation for trouble for the lady tigers, I mean tigers of MC!

I like all this trash talking going on right now. Man I cannot wait til Friday. I think it is going to be a great game but I am going to urge both MC fans and SC fans that no matter who wins the game that we still supports our region when they travel east. For my prediction, SC-28 MC-7. OwLS have the better TEAM and better Coaches. Wimore rushes for 150+ and Brad throws for around 150 also. tchsno1fan. The SC-PTown game should be a better game than the MC-GC game. I think MC wins by 14 or so but the SC game should be closer so I would go there!!!!

was maynord here in 1990?? i didn't think so. each year maynord has been here we have done well and last time i checked he was the head coach so that does not mean nothing. best i remember we won not once but twice last year so yeah its on the field!!
