  1. well who ever wins i dont think its going to be a big scoring game. GO GREENEVILLE GREENE DEVILS THE WHOLE PART OF EAST TENNESSEE IS ROOTIN FOR U.
  2. I am going to have to disagree with you on this one Art about beating Greeneville 3 times. You all only beat Greeneville once and that was at the Dome. The other two times Greeneville handed the Indians the game with turnovers and unnecessary fouls. Good luck at the 'Boro. You all have a team with a lot of talent. Wouldn't it be great to see a Greeneville/DB round 4 in the finals?
  3. I am going to put in my vote for the 6' 7" post for Greeneville, Bradley Blair. He has been the rock for the Devils this year. Being overshadowed by the 6'10" Matt Malone, he has stepped by when the team has needed him. He is there when Matt is doubled and tripled team, and without him, Greeneville wouldn't be going to the state tournament. In my opinion, and no offense to Matt because he deserves every award and scholarship that he gets, but Bradley is the MVP of that team.
  4. Greeneville has two good guards in Alex White and Megan Lyons. Not a big scorer, Alex can handle the ball in any situation that you throw in her face. If needed she can also put up the numbers. Megan is one of the best all-around players I have seen. She is the team's leading scorer, can dish the ball if she sees someone open, and has the instincts on defense to steal the ball. The best part is that she is only a sophomore and can only get better. She is a good girl with a bright future ahead of her. Also the girl from Science Hill is pretty good. Unfortunately I don't know her name. She is the reason that Science Hill was still in the game when they played Greeneville in Johnson City. She really was impressive. If she only had some support around her, they would be a tough match on anybody's schedule.
  5. I have to agree with you JHITE7 on that it will be a barn-burner, but it won't be because of the weather. It rained all night last Friday at Tennessee High and Greeneville's passing game was on point. They were 22-30 for 294 yds. It all comes down to the running game of West and turnovers. If Greeneville can stop the run and commit fewer turnovers, they will win. They learn from their mistakes very well and are a great bunch of kids. Extra points will also be a factor. Greeneville has to make them. Their kicking game has been a weakness for a few years now, but they have a kid that can at least make the PAT. It should be just as, if not more, exciting as the first encounter was this year.
