  1. Wingman, I think you need to reread my post. I said to be honest I think that Riverdale would beat Coffee Co. as bad as I hate to say that. And I told you I know that this is not softball so get that out of your head. I'm really tired of talking to you because I will not agree with anything you say and I'm tired of hearing everyone's crap about CC. So I'm getting off of here so don't mind to reply to this post.
  2. I'm not stupid... I know we're talking about football. I was just using an example to try to get my point across that the unthinkable can happen. And no I'm not blaming the 6-4 record on the strength of the schedule. We should've won every single one of those games, but hey, it happens. And I really don't believe that Coffee Co. would even come close to Riverdale. (As bad as I hate to say it) My point was just that you shouldn't always assume that a certain team is going to win because it would be a huge upset when all those hopes go down the drain when someone either gets lucky or beats them fair and square. And by the way... yes I know there is a softball forum on here!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. I agree Riverdale is an awesome team. And yes, they could maybe kill Coffee County. But how could you be so sure? Sometimes the unthinkable happens. Especially to the teams that people are always so sure that are going to win. For example, this past year, it was Riverdale vs. Coffee Co. in softball in Region. NOBODY thought Coffee Co. had a chance. If I may, I will remind you of those results..... COFFEE COUNTY DID THE UNTHINKABLE!!!! Coffee Co. beat Riverdale in softball for a HUGE upset. Who's to say that the unthinkable couldn't happen in football? How could you be so sure that Riverdale would just ABSOLUTLY KILL Coffee Co.? And what is it with people always hating Coffee Co.? What is it that we ever do to you?
  4. I hate to tell you jda9703.... but Coffee County did some research before. We looked up schedules of High School teams to see who has the hardest schedules. You say that Coffee County is no where near the league that Riverdale? Well I really hate to tell you this but it is said that Coffee County has the 39th hardest schedule of High School teams and RIVERDALE HAS THE 40TH hardest schedule. So don't try to tell us that Coffee county is no where near the league of Riverdale.
  5. My vote goes to Jake Nunley. Last night he broke his 2000 yard mark. He is a very dedicated player and a leader of his team. Every team knows to try to stop Jake, but nobody can seem to do it. Jake is the most humble person to be such an awesome player. He isn't one of the biggest guys on the field but he sure can plow some people over if they get in his way. Jake deserves this award!!!!!
  6. Goingdeep, Daddy, for you to be over seas.... I do believe that you're our biggest fan!! I love you.
  7. chs4life, coffee county beat warren co. 5-2 tonight. the jv also won their game 7-2 i believe the score was.

Ranger 215, I just wanted to tell you my opinion. I play for the Lady Raiders so let me tell you a little bit about Whitney Price because you obviously don't know anything about her. She is probably one of the HARDEST workers on our team. Everyday we practice for 4 hours, after practice she goes to our Rec Center and works out even more to improve her game. We also have weight lifting during school and she works twice as hard as as anybody and she also makes everyone on the team want to strive for something more. If she's out on the field playing, it's not "because of daddy." She's put up with this all her life...people always think that she gets to play because of her dad. Her dad is what makes her such a hard worker. He doesn't want her to settle for anything but the best either. But you know what? You're opinion doesn't matter one single bit... you're not the person that writes the line up for our games, so why should you care????????

Instead of making "your own" predictions about the Price kid come out to the Lady Raider field friday at 4:00 and once you have seen Whitney then you can have your opinion about her and judge her game
  10. I've had the hardest time trying to find out if Coach Breeden of Coffee County is really leaving this next year or not. I've heard so many different things I really don't know what to believe. So is he really leaving or is he not? I hope that I hear that he's not leaving because I'm going to be a freshman next year, and I've looked forward to playing highschool softball with him, but the year that I'm eligible..... they say he's leaving. So if anyone knows what the real deal is, please tell me!!!!!!
  11. hey big country. i think i have an idea of who you are. are your initials j.c.? but thanks for backing me up. lol
  12. UT1, I'm not trying to be a politician. I was being strong enough to express my feelings.Do you know the feeling of playing on a losing team? Well I do & I hate that feeling! A real softball fan knows that a team is the reflection of their coach! Coach Breeden has built Coffee County softball into a very good softball program. It was not always that way! What I am tying to say is I want to play for a coach that i have watched over the years & that I know is a good coach. He works his players very hard because my sister is very tired after 4 hours of practice everyday. I want a coach to push me hard because I want to get a scholarship. I chose softball over basketball because I think I might have a better chance. And for that Goingdeep, he has smoked himself stupid!
  13. Daddyraider, You know you're my real favorite. Thanks for teaching me all the things that you have. It's really gotten me far in the life of softball. I've been playing for Coach Kenny and he has pushed me hard to become a better catcher! I'm glad that I have been lucky enough to have coaches like you that have pushed me harder to get better. I guess I missed out on you being one of my highschool coaches! But you're still fat man to me! (HAHA) (Oh thanks for the good luck on basketball)
  14. I have currently read where Coach Breeden may be leaving Coffee couty after this year. I hope that this is not so! I am a 14 year old catcher that has been playing for one of Coffee County's traveling teams. I also play basketball, but I have decided to dedicate myself to softball during my highschool years. I played for Coach Breeden when I was 10 on his traveling team. He is the one that moved me to catcher. Even though, my dad thinks I'm crazy wanting to be a catcher, I love the exitement of being in on every pitch. My cousin played for Coach Breeden and earned many honors during her playing days. I hope to duplicate these feats for Coach Breeden & Coach Floyd. I want my name on the Raider walk of fame with my cousin Erica. My dad tells me that Coach is a fair man because he started my sister as a freshman eventhough they have had strong disagrements in the past. My dad tells me that this is the mark of a true man. I am writing this because I want to play softball for a successful program & I want to start with my sister. I have played softball since I was 5 & I want to play for you Coach Breeden! I hope you read this & carry me to a state championship! Please don't leave all the hard work you have put into our highschool softball program behind! If you agree with me, please respond and tell Coach Breeden not to give up on us girls!
  15. I am a 14 year old catcher who hopes to play for Coffee County next year. My sister plays for CC & I hope we can both start for my favorite team. Dickson County beat us 1-o early in the year. Does Dickson County have a chance to repeat? Has back to back state championships ever been done? If so, what is the longest run of championships at the high school level?
