I would like to see BA play Riverdale, since 5-A cried to TSSAA that BA was kicking butt and taking names. Now Riverdale dominates 5-A and BA gets told they play a weak schedule, so i think this matchup would be a great one to get going again every year. Riverdale v MBA would be another good one. also think that getting the Brentwood BA rivalry back up would be huge for the city of Brentwood. In 01 and 02 when these 2 teams played the atmosphere and both games was amazing.

If ryan and BGA both win, who does everyone thinks wins the consolation game? I think it will be too close to call, but i think that BA will give ryan a better fight than people are expecting (only 1-0 last time) and i also think that if MBA can get one early on BGA then BGA will be in trouble. MBA clearly has the advantage of the keepers so that could be a factor.

The most intriguing matchup of the season will be the one between the cocky little farts from BGA and the underachievers from the Webb School. Webb is out to prove that they belong and BGA is quite overconfident with what they have I think Webb takes this one, and then BA takes the region any thoughts?

Any thoughts on the BA BGA game tuesday? BA gets no respect but i think this game will be a lot closer than people think. I am not sure BA can win, but i definatley think they have the potential to sneak out a tie.

does BA have a chance against BGA on tuesday, what are the thoughts? CHS05 what do u think you have seen both teams play. I know BGA is the favorite but does BA have a chance or will they get blown out?

Any thoughts on tonites Centennial BA game, will it be a good game? or will it be a blowout? anyone know much about either teams?

Last night BA and USN tied 1-1, USN got the equalizer with 5 mintues to go off of a free kick, both teams played very hard. it was good to see BA get after it, they are a good team when they play like they are capable of playing the first three games of the season were a mystery to all. Hopefully this was a step in the right direction although after talking to some of the players they seem to be very upset with a tie, they feel like this is a game that they should've won. but oh well. they play mcgavock today (although the weather may prevent this one from being played) and then they take on FRA monday and then comes a huge region game with JP2 on wednesday. This should be an exciting race in this region.

Yea its a nice school everything is going well, we are working on getting the soccer program up to where we want it to be, but we are having trouble getting the support that we want but its okay. We think we will be able to surprise some people this year, but i am very puzzled at some of the coaching moves this (read the above posts about the MBA game and you will know what i am talking about). But we have some good players just waiting for us to start clicking on all cylinders and we should be pretty good

Yea i dont know what the deal is with pulling players so early, especially pulling so many players so early, but i guess its something the coach feels is good (i dont know why, they arent winning right now) but i must say that i do see some potential in this BA team they have some solid players in the back line, #19 and #8 both are very very solid and then there midfield looks very strong and times, but then again at times it looks terrible. Forwards seem to be the question mark. Will Vaughn and #5 seem to be the guys and both have great skill they just seem a little tentative at times and look like they may be lacking confidence. Although in their defense they may be scared to shoot for fear that if they miss coach will yank them because he has made it clear that he is not afraid to make substitutions. Were you at the game Nick? did you see the same things i saw? I think both BA and MBA have a legitimate shot at finishing in the top 3 in this region its just a matter as to what BA team shows up and MBA looks to lean very heavily on the shoulders of glazer. If he goes down i think they will be in trouble, but if he is healthy they will be a tough team to beat, he really keeps them going and in my opinion is possibly the best player in the region. Any other games played in the region yet?

Well BA and MBA sqaured off today, MBA got the better half winning 3-0. From a spectators point of view though it was very oddly coached by BA, pulling 7 of his starters including his goal keeper 15 minutes into the game and returning none of them until the 2nd half when it was too late and no returning his keeper at all. Nothing taken away from MBA they are a good team strong up top with glazer, but they seem to be somewhat shaky in the back. I am not sure as to what BA's strategy was in pulling so many players so early into the game, but it seemed that the starters never could really develop much rhthym, but i must say when they were in they had several chanced to even the score. Will Vaughn had a great header just over the bar off cross from the outside and then #5 for BA had some chances but just came up unlucky on a few. Great game MBA, I would love to see these 2 teams meet again and maybe both teams play there best for 80 minutes and see the outcome I still think MBA would probally come out on top but it would be a much better game. Anyone else who was there want to reply, maybe someone from either team?

The regular season is about to start, lets get some chatter going, after the scrimmages and stuff, does anyone seem to be of surprise? being from middle TN, how does this region look? Is Father Ryan the favorite like it seems most everyone is saying? or well they be surprised? Is BGA being overlooked due to the fact they lost 10 starters, even though they have a very good core of Premier 88 players. Can USN finish where it left off last season in the state tourny? Will Glazer's return help MBA, or will they struggle in this region even with him? Can BA be a darkhorse, they have faired well in some scrimages against strong competition, or do they still stand no chance of making it to state? Can finally having a senior class get JP2 on top? All of this is just out of pure curiousity, i just thought i would post some stuff adn see if i can start some chatter up.
