  1. i have seen jujuan play. he has +20ppg but he is playing agaisnt little AA teams. Mcminns schedule isnt that difficult of a schedule. Justin Hare and Kellen Pickel are putting up +20 ppg with the most difficult schedule in AAA.

who dosnt play aa teams. they play 4 aa teams a year. you people, dont hate the guy because he can play the game. of course pickel and hare can win, they have support. jajuan cant do it all himself. you people talk smack about him now, but in a couple of years win he is on a winning college basketball team you people will say i know that guy he is good.

  2. To go from a 13 to a 20 on ACT causes too many questions. Not only will NCAA investigate I would say he would be forced to re-take the test. If jujuan has had so many offers then why is HE the one saying that he may go to JUCO or prep school. Actually I knwo someone who heard him say that himself. Surely if he has got actual OFFERS from these places he would not be saying he was going prep school. Unless of course he thinks he can retake the ACT and score another 20. Just in case you don't know the ruling- anytime a student jumps that many places in a score something is not right. It just does not happen.

wrong, he said that before he took the second test. i know him personally, talk to him quite abit. dont listen to everyone who thinks they know him, trust me. he might go to prep school only if he dosnt like some of the offers. he is a pretty smart kid. doubt he will go to prep school or juco.

  3. Why do you have Pigram listed as prep school or JUCO? Is he like Jujuan Smith and cannot qualify for D1 at this time? If so, will this disqualify him as a Mr Basektball finalist? Never seen him play but I read alot about him so he must be a good shooter. I would like to see him, Jujuan, Pickel, Hare and Cooper all on the same team. WOW

you people do not have a clue about jajuan smith. he has more than qualified. he made a 20 on his act and is getting offers from boston college and mtsu. wake forest, pittsburgh, and tennessee are talking to him. get your facts straight and that goes for gomab also.

  4. Justin Hare should be added to that list along with Kellen Pickel both of Bradley. Jujuan is a complete individual player but those two are complete TEAM players. Justin is a white kid that can dunk and shoot the threes and play point or other guard. Kellen is the best three point shooter I have seen in the past two years and can dish better than any shooter I know. BTW: Can KP dunk? They are what you can refer to as complete. BTW: There team is ranked number one so they are complet players on a comlete team. They should be given a nomination for the Mr Basketball finalist in AAA most definitely. Jujuan is probaly the best individual player in the district but certainly not what I would call complete or a Mr Basektball finalist. Doesnt grades have a factor in that award?

how about a 20 on act. hows that for your grades.

  5. The JUICE has been choking this year in the big games. He is scoring the big numbers in the games that don't count but against Rhea he was 3 for 20 and against Cleveland he missed the foul shots to win the game. JUICE is not performing so good this year. Too busy worrying about all the big schools he thinks he can play at. I would take any of those top five Bradley boys over him right now. But hey, if Maurice and Webb will step up and make some baskets then we got a chance, but they can't unless they get the ball and that won't happen as long as Jujuan has it in his hands. I mean 3 for 20. Maurice is just as good but doesn't get a chance.

You are crazy. Jajuan is not worrying about where he is going. He knows where he can go and cant go. Another thing, if it wasnt for him the last 4 years, you guys wouldnt win half the games you have won. I wouldnt be knocking one the best players to ever step foot on the court at mcminn, he cant do it all his self.

  6. My first five:

    G-Justin Hare

    G-Jon Cook

    F-Charles Little

    F-Ryan Merriman

    F-Charles Benning

    Second five:

    G-Tim Cooper

    G-Kellen Pickel

    G-Rodney Henderson

    F-Courtney White

    F-Wes Suiter

I dont understand how you dont even mention the best point guard in the state jajuan smith. hello, wake up and smell the roses.

  7. for all of yall saying stop little plain and simple, im confused how yur gonna do that, the cat is averaging 30 plus a game, u think riverdale, ooltewah and the others didnt have the same game plan? cleveland does have a strong supporting cast, but they r very young, goldston is gonna be good, and barber is a smart player. with cleveland losing cooper and still starting out 4 and 0, thats unreal, not to mention davis on the bench, you dont start out 4 and 0 against anyone losing 4 out of 5 starters as well as 80% of your offense from the year before and not have any support, thats just not possible. they have some of the best young gaurds in the area this year, who will be great scorers by the end of the year, but for now their job is to give the assist to the big man, by the way charles has added a bit of skill to his arsenal, all of yall people relying on last years performances are about as tasty old milk, spilt. cleveland should take care of business in the chatt area this year except for bc, they are atleast 15 points better than cleveland and anyone else in this area if not the state.

jajuan is averaging 31 a game and your point is what? he has a pretty good supporting cast. little isnt that good just because he is big and can dunk. have you ever seen jajuans dunks. he can also shoot the threes and pass, rebound, post up, block shots and play defense. little can do what.

  8. I have personal experience gaurding this little boy you call "the juice." He is no more than a little boy. That is why he quit football. He is a weak child that will not amount to much more than a little cardboard carton of "juice."

While I admit my experience was when he played receiver, he caught one ball (while not being gaurded by me), and it was not for more than 10 yards. Yeah, i'm not stupid, I know this is basketball, but he is not strong, and that transends sports. He will be shut down if he goes up against a stronger (even smaller) player.

you probably was a freshman bench warmer also because no punk could guard him

  9. I would agree that saying Maryville is far and away the best team in Tennessee may be a little overzealous. However, how many teams in the country can say that they have won almost forty games in a row, much less in Tennessee? That alone speaks for itself, but to be a winner you have to think like a winner. Obviously Maryville as a whole thinks like a champion, but unlike everyone that gets on here and says this team or that team can beat us, Maryville also prepares like a champion. A champion has a singless of purpose: Focus on the goal that is to be accomplished, and a chapion does the things that it takes to get it done. Maryville may not have several D-I prospects, maybe not even one, but they do what it takes to win games week in and week out and noone can argue with that. If you think that because we do not play in 5a that we cannot state that we are a great team then your perception of football in Tennessee is skewed. A school's size has no bearing on how good they are. Granted a 5a school in TN somewhere may be able to beat Maryville, however those teams cannot claim title to 3 state championships in a row and 4 out of the last 5 with appearances in 5 of the last 6 title games. Maryville reigns atop Tennessee football now and until someone proves otherwise. All the arguments that have been presented on this thread are weak. Because you get on here and say that you can beat Maryville means nothing. Back your assumptions up with facts, I for one can add a ring to the argument and know others who have three more to back that up, and that is more titles in 5 years than 90% of the teams in Tennessee can claim in their entire history. For all those who doubt, quit complaining or accusing or wishing; get out and prove that you are a champion and maybe just maybe your claims against Maryville will hold water.

    Go Rebels!!!

You are about half crazy if you say no one can say they won 3 straight. Cleveland won 3 straight state titles and won 55 straight games before they lost in semi finals in '96. Dont flatter yourself with so called records. Search the facts.

two more days and the state is stunned in the biggest upset of the season

    thanks for the extra motivation

motivation. the only motivation there be is having the privalege to play the game of football. let the game play out, then talk. both sides are talking trash not just one. both teams are very good teams and have the right to be there. it will not be but maybe 3 or 6 points different either way and it will not be a blow out. your not making anyone mad but yourselves and not the players. i know maryville doesnt read into this stuff and central doesnt neither. it will be a great game and a battle.

  11. I coach in Chattanooga now, but I coached these senoirs their freshem year at McMinn and they are winners. They have alot of heart and guts. Dusty, Derrick, Maurice S., Maurice V., and the rest of those guys dont know what quit means and I think they will win this one. Remember McMinn; in the scrimmage this past spring at Central what our deal was, we will both be in MURF.

  12. rebelron, thanks alot. you guys from maryville sound like you all have some class and thats what will make it a great game. some people on here are just jealous that they are sitting at home and central and maryville are not. is your mlb ok, i heard he was hurt last week. hope both teams play well. should be a great game.

  13. postup00, you do not know jajuan smith from what you just said because your wrong. i do know him very well and he just wants to win. you cant fault him for that. i guess what ever he is doing is good because tn. wants him pretty bad. maybe its just that your just jealous of his ability and your in the wrong for saying that about him.

  14. i wished everybody would just shut up and wait until tommorrow night. there is no need in arguing over any of it. you people are just showing your schools intelligence on here. its just a high school game. everybody knows tyner is good and everybody knows central is good and just cant stand the fact that both have a chance to go far. the best thing to do is for everyone come and watch two of the best teams in chattanooga play and see what happens, it could go either way and it will go one way. after it is over with, both teams will still have alot of respect for one another because that is what they are tought to do by their coaches. good luck to two very good teams win. show chattanooga who the two respectable teams are.

  15. You guys say if Ootelwah had played the same teams Central played you would be undefeated, wrong. You have played those teams; Central beat Mcminn in a srimmage earlier this year, you got beat by Red Bank I mean come on, and you beat East Ridge less convensingly than Central did so you were saying what. There is no argument from either side, yet. In 24 hours we will find out who the winner is and still it will mean nothing region wise. Yes it will mean bragging rights and a few I told you so's and thats it untill next year. I have coached against Coach Gatewood before and I know he will have his team ready, he always does, but I know this Central team also and weather anyone wants to eccept it or not their pretty good and Coach Jones always has them ready to play as always. Those teams Central played the first two times, combined 4 first downs. Thats almost impossible no matter who you play. Both teams have a very good chance at winning and that is why it is going to be a great game.
