Did they name the new coach last week? If so, who is it? If not, who are the front runners? Have they interviewed? Will this be a good job in everyone's opinion? What other softball jobs might be coming opening this spring? Are ther any good ones? What about Coffee County? Who will apply if it comes open? Any speculation?

What about the coaches in Murfreesboro? Who is coaching Blackman? Who is going to be the new coach at Sigel? Does Snow really want to coach softball? Seems like there is alot of talent in the boro, but there could be more success.

How many Region Championships have they won in recent years? How have they faired against Coffee, Columbia, and Lincoln Co. in the last few years? I know they beat Coffee in the region finals last year, but what about previous years? Is Cookeville not the best coached team in district 7AAA?

I just heard that a new name has surfaced in the head coach hunt. Rumor has it that Carlton Flatt from BA has already been down to CHS and has presented the "powers in charge" with the things it will take to get him there. Will the Coffee County system pay him more than the schools principal to get him there. I would say some of the public school coaches who could not beat him at BA would line up to take a shot at him at Coffee County. Will he also be the athletic director? What about Shelton? Will he be fired to make room? I think Coffee County would be quite different from BA.

Ela, Coffee County is returning good skill players, but will definitely be rebuilding in the line department. Two returning Seniors up front that have started for two years. Their QB has been told by the former head coach to continue to play. In the end, he will probably play. Their region teams will remain the same, but here are their nonregion opponents: Sigel, Tullahoma, Wilson Central, Grundy County, and Sweetwater. The name being spread throughout the Air Force Base is Ferguson from Oakland returning to take the job he formerly held.

I was told that he was allowed to hire anyone he wanted. I did not get to see a game this year because of my work schedule, but how were the sidelines out of control? I understand that the head coach was usually calm. Do you think they will hire anyone soon? What about the asst. coaches, will they stay or go?
