  1. I'm gonna need a saved seat. Will it have our names on it?
  2. Reaction, will you be on the bleachers at this game? If so were and are you wearing you backward Boston cap?
  3. All year I've seen the bucs adjust defensively to anything thrown at them. I predict you might have momentum in the first half moving the ball, but this is the best second half adjusting team I've seen since '03. I'd say were pretty good about shutting down scoring threats in second half all year, including Red Bank (which should have been tied in 3rd qtr).
  4. The guy that usually saves my seat won't be there this Friday, so I'll be alone. Last Friday, I walked up and down the bleachers looking for any guy on the top row that might stick out. Nothing but guys in blue caps facing forward and mainly blue shirts, i.e. buc gear. Sorry I don't have anything but a dark green jacket and I don't were hats. So if anyone spots black-haired, green jacket and jeans person, I'll probably be alone. But if BnL manages to discover me, I'll probably be in big trouble!
  5. Reaction, you have to be there. I'd like to meet the guy who convinced me to return to Buc football and go to the Red Bank game. And didnt bash me for ditching the bucs for 4 yrs.
  6. Before my post was deleted, I wanted to know whats so great about Cascade's passing offense/defense? I think the only teams that moved the ball on us passing was Red Bank and Howard, both scored their TDs in 1st half. I believe we picked off RB 4 times in that game, we just couldnt score enough against their very fast defense. My point: Cascade will need a very balenced running/passing game to score multiple TDs on us. Passing alone wont do it.
  7. Alright, were back in bussiness. Please, no more proctolagy jokes!
  8. Right on, cascade11. However, we are not Boyd Christian (which was a small school up in middle TN), we are Boyd Buchanan! If you could edit that, it would great.
  9. Either I'm blind, or the Cascade at Boyd thread disappeared. What the heck?
  10. It was 21-7. The score was not a good indicater of the game. Holding penalties kept us from scoring more, and MC never even got inside the red zone. That one TD for Marion came from QB Crowe who got a little pass happy and threw it right at a Marion defender. However, us passing a lot more the last few games has impressed me and proved that we are not one demesional. If the D does what it does best we should be fine, regardless of the score. We ought to shut them out this time.
  11. Rock did tear his ACL is going to be undergoing surgery tomorrow morning around 11. I feel bad for him seeing that he is a good friend and I know what he is going through, he is tough guy though and will be recovered by next year. CANT WAIT FOR THE second round so I can make a trip back to the Swamp to see the guys! That's terrible about Rock. I saw the play he got injured on. Call me ignorant, but I didnt know someone can come right off the bench, play a few downs, then just tear an ACL just like that. I thought at worst it was an MCL.
  12. I'd say this scenerio seems the most accurate (for the east). But I don't see that much scoring in the finals if its boyd. They only allowed 2 TDs against Red Bank and their high-octane offense. BTW 2 TDs is the most Boyd has allowed any OFFENSE to score all year!
  13. Is he number 2?? I think I remember him running and being pretty impressive.
  14. I think we're definetely off momentum. Penalties hurt us early in the season until about wk 5, then we got much better. Since then, the flags have been flying high. These offensive holding penalties have cost us several touchdowns the last 3 games, and thats one thing you can only practice on the field with real refs and a real opponent. I do have to say our turnovers have improved big time though. Reaction, buc55, will either of you make the next game? Hood is the backup RB. #2
  15. The second half of this season has been a game every other week for Boyd, and now we've got another bye for the play-offs. I'm glad that Boyd's D-5 champs of course, but I want to get to watch as much football as I can. BTW Can anyone tell me the status of Rock Hood?
  16. Just to keep the thread going, (no CB fans here), this is the wettest season I've ever seen. I hate it! Also, with the rain comes the warm humidity. Last week I could tell the players were very dried out and had trouble breathing (it looked like that to me anyways). I wish we would play Thurs. I'd rather get caught in a little rain and cold than play on a soggy, damp field.
  17. Depends on good your antenna is. In town its fine, but I have trouble picking it up clearly even in Hixson. If you have internet I recomend listening online, use the link on the coacht forum page.
  18. Sure its been needing modernization, especially the home side. But I liked being closer to the track. The field house is very nice for the teams, but I hate the way you have to walk all the way around it to get to the visitors side. Unless you can find those hidden stairs going to the track.
  19. Now that I know the new layout of Boyd's field/stadium, perhaps I'll know how to find people this friday. Reaction and buc55, if ya'll can make the game let me know where to find you. BTW These off weeks suck. I think it throws off a teams momentum, i.e. Oct. 9 vs. SP. One idle week should be enough.
  20. I hated this game. (And I hate my PC for losing the long post I just wrote!!!!) I think I saw GRUNT sitting on a bench outside of the elementary school during the storm with a TC hat on. If so, I was the guy in a green polo that kept talking on the cell phone. Reaction, where the heck were you? Looked for a guy in Boston backward cap, right outside field house before refs called players off the field 2nd time. Had some comments about our offense choking, and how T. Robinson could make a 2 TD difference this yr, as if was that much better than last yr. And kuddos to SP for playing their hearts out with what they had.
  21. Reaction how is the parking so far?
  22. Does Boyd still do their homecoming ceremony before the game? If so, that's going to make parking in the neighborhood all that much harder.
  23. Free Red Bull! Buc98 just might show himself after all. BTW Even though the Big Ones contest is lopsided for S. Pitt, I chose not to vote because this game is far too unpredictable. Course I want Boyd to win, but Big Ones is a picking contest not a fan contest. Anyone else agree and not vote, or did you?
  24. It will be so crowded this friday, it will be hard to spot people I do know, let alone people I don't know. But I will try and find you guys.
