I can't really comment on that game because I was gone to college and didn't see it. I heard the defense scored like 42 points though. I'm hoping Alcoa plays at home if they win, but York would be 13-0 and they are a #1 seed. Will that loss to Maryville cost Alcoa home field? I don't mind traveling, but it would be nice to save a little gas.

I don't know much about Red bank, but I do know they're 12-0! Should be a great game and I think Ima have to come to this one. Maryville may not be winning by 40, but I wouldn't bet against them. Rebs by 7!

I'm going to be honest with you, Alcoa has always had the talent to play with anyone.The talent on this year's team is no where near the talent of teams from the past. All alcoa was missing in the 90's was a weight program and a great coaching staff. They've caught up to every other 2a team and now the dynasty has begun. There's nothing special going on in Alcoa. The program is just where it needs to be now. Alcoa could actually win 3 or 4 more state titles in a row. The up coming classes are loaded!

There's no way Rankin will even let them get close to 91. The most Alcoa will get is 56 or so........If Alcoa and York both win will Alcoa travel to York or what??

I'm not sure, but if I had to guess I'd say he had around 150 rushing and 2 td's and around 200 passing with 3 td's. and an int.This was by far his best overall performance this year. He had a 90 yrd. td run and he just made some amazing plays when Alcoa needed them.

I told CAK fans that we'd win by at least 28! They played a good 2nd quarter, but I knew they're defense couldn't stop our offense. My cousin Cobb just won the Mr. Football award with his performance tonight. He is by far the best athlete in 2a. Now it's GP's turn to feel the power of the F5!!!

Yep I love that one also. I brought that chant into the program from aau track back in 2000. Looks like it's part of the tradition now. Jeff co. and WB have even tried that chant. I believe it follows Meadows wherever he goes. haha

Back to Alcoa having no class and runs the score up, what about GP scoring 50 and 60 points this year? Is it ok for them to put up points and not for other teams?? Once again good luck and I really hope to see GP in the 3rd.

That's not the point here. I know Alcoa doesn't need the film on CAK, but the coaches could have least answered the phone and told Alcoa that they weren't trading films. When it comes down to it, it really doesn't effect the outcome, but if Alcoa refused to trade film then it would be the headlines of the week! See ya friday CAK and have a safe trip!!

Well Coach Bradley sure didn't answer his phone when the Alcoa coaches were calling him to trade game film! He never returned a call til recently and by then it was too late. Alcoa won't call the dogs off in this one and the score could very well be 60+ to 14!!

I agree with you for the most part, but I do believe that the 15-0 2000 team got the gold balls rollin and then it trickled down. How could you forget that year?

I know Alcoa won state 77-79 and in 88 they went 14-1 losing in the state game to BA. The 89 team went 15-0 and was ranked 24th in the usa today national rankings! I don't know where you got your info. from but it's wrong!

The bottom line is Alcoa won't be tested until the semis. I just don't see CAK, CG, or GP beating them. Alcoa would have to turn the ball over 10 times and have multiple injuries for them to lose! I know these fans believe in their teams and they are supposed to, but in all reality, Alcoa is just Dominate in 2a!!

Heard this from an inside source and he said that CAK wouldn't even answer their phone calls! They had to get the tape from Loudon! CAK Just dug their own grave!! Alcoa by 48!

Some dream you are having!! What makes you think CAK will beat Alcoa this week? I know you should always have hope, but keep it real. There's just not enough speed on CAK's sideline to keep up. If a miracle happens and CAK wins the game I will give them props, but don't count on it.
