NCS must have a great coach if he is better than Coach Trotter from Summertown, because Trotter is one heck of a coach. I gurantee you that Trotter will have his troops ready for war when he invades NCS, and he will be leading them to a victory. Good luck to both 12A teams! [Edited by coacht on 3-9-03 4:49P]

I would also like to congratulate Wayne Co. and coach Franks on a great season. I know I was on here downing them a lot, but that is just part of the greatest sport there is......high school basketball. You represented 12A real well and proved that it is one of the toughest A districts in the state. Good luck next season

What are you talking about hiding behind names, it looks like to me you are doing the same and so is everyone else, that is why it is called a screen name. Are you Ryan Brown? If so, then you know who I am. We have met before on the court with my team coming away with the victory and myself outplaying you. But dont worry about it. Good season, but let it go your team is done.

I think that this will be a good game through 3 quarters but Culleoka will pull away in the 4th to win by about 10. Good luck to both.

The game between Culleoka and Wayne Co. is tonight, but I think Culleoka will win by around 10. It should be an exciting game to watch, I'm sorry that I am not going to be able to make it tonight, but I will be at the rest of the games. For tonight I pick Culleoka by 10 and Perry Co. by 13. For Richland fans you all can stop talking now, because Richland is done.

Good game. I admit, I was suprised by how close Richland kept it. As for Ryan Brown, he played good tonight, but everyone gets lucky, but I give credit where credit is due. Richland lost so Ryan Brown should not have anything to brag about unless he is a cocky punk.....my bad, he is a punk that likes to talk a lot of trash. Oh well who cares they are done. As for Summertown, good game guys. Be ready for Culleoka and good luck.

Who is #12 for Richland?? I hope its not Ryan Brown. If you think he is good then you need to watch some real basketball. Good luck with S-town, you will need it. S-town by 15.

It will be interesting to see how Santa Fe rebounds after being blown out by a hot Summertown team. If Santa Fe comes out and plays their style of ball then they should win by around 10, but I don't see it happening. It seems Santa Fe always plays bad at Wayne Co. and I think tonight will be no different. I think Wayne Co will win but I will be pulling for Santa Fe. Good luck to both in the regions.

This has potential to be a great game. I think that Trotter will have Summertown ready for this game. Summertown played great in shutting down Santa Fe. Unless Perry Co. is hitting all their 3's, Stown will pull off the upset. In the runner up game, I think that Wayne Co. will beat Santa Fe by about 20, even though I will be pulling for Santa Fe. Santa Fe will be down after being blown away by Stown. Good luck to all 4 teams in the regional tourney.

This will be a "heck" of a game. It is always tough to go into Summertown and get a win. The Eagles always get the calls and its like playing in a box because the walls are so close. I agree that Casey Holt should get looked at as a candidate for A Mr. Basketball. Good game Casey. Jamar Jenkins is overrated. Lets see if Holt can lead his team past the first round of the regions unlike last year.

Wayne Co. is a slightly above average team, but they are at best 4th in district 12A. They are not near as good as the top three of Perry Co., Santa Fe, and Summertown night in and night out. They have a chance to prove themselves tomm. night when they host Santa Fe. Santa Fe got beat badly by Mt. Pleasant not to long ago, but they have come back strong after getting all thier players healthy again. They are coming off a impressive victory over Summertown. This should be an interesting game. Santa Fe's post are too much for Wayne Co., but Wayne Co, always plays Santa Fe tough at home. My prediction is Santa Fe 62-54

Rhodes is no where near one of the top 10 players in 12A. Maybe top 20.

We will see what happens in the regional tournaments. Forrest will go down early.

Mt. Pleasant by 4 59-55

Every time I read a post about Forrest losing, all of their fans always make up some lame excuses. If your boy Jamar is as good as everyone is saying that he is, then it looks like he could be a leader and lead his team to more victories. Maybe he is too worried about stats, or maybe he plays to the level of the competition (that was one excuse someone used before). Just stop making up excuses for every loss and worry about winning your games. See you all in the regionals.

Here is my opinion of the top players in 12A. 1. Chase Richardson- Perry Co 2. Cody James- Summertown 3. Joseph Carter- Santa Fe 4. Justin Braynt- Collinwood 5. Brad Miller- Wayne Co. 6. Jonathon Grey- Perry Co. 7. Webster - Mt. Pleasant 8. Boo Boo- Santa Fe (When he's healthy) 9. Calton- Collinwood This is how the 12A tourney will end up: 1. Perry Co. 2. Summertown 3. Santa Fe (If they get there players back if not they might not make it past the first round 4. Mt. Pleasant (Will upset Wayne Co.) A 12A team will win the region and have a solid chance of going to state.

I think that this will be a close ballgame all the way to the final buzzer. I think that Mt. Pleasant has a very good chance to pull off the upset because the Wildcats are suffering some injuries right now, plus Mt. Pleasant always comes to play against Santa Fe. I think that Santa Fe will win a close one 56-54.

Summertown will come ready to play and beat the Wildcats by about 10. It will be a good game till the 4th quarter and Wayne Co. will choke and Summertown will pull away.

I never really even bashed Jamar, I just stated my opinion the same way you did, it just happens that our opinions are different. Jamar is a good player, but I personally think he is somewhat overrated. But maybe Im wrong, but I have the right to state my opinion. Good luck to Jamar and Chapel Hill, they will need it, because they won't make it very far in the regional tournaments.

Jamar Jenkins = Over.......rated !! He is no where as good as everyone is saying, and definately should not win Mr. Basketball this year, and not even next year unless he improves a whole lot. The big guy from Unionville tore him up last week, Jenkins is a good player but he does not deserve the hype that everyone is giving him...

I know that Perry Co. won by 17 or so, but does anyone one have any info. on the game or any stats??

I was just wondering what is the update on the injuries to Santa Fe's Tyler Borne and Boo Boo? Are they playing tonight against Perry Co.? Also what is everyones prediction? It will be tough for Santa Fe to go to Perry Co. and win without Borne and Boo Boo, but it should be a heck of a game either way. Good luck Santa Fe !
