Tam Cao is good in Knoxville, but probably won't do much in state. He didn't even win KIL. He has gotten pinned by Justin Talley from South Doyle the passed two weekends. I don't mean to disrespect him, he is a good wrestler, but not as good as you make him sound. And if you are going to talk about him, at least spell his name right.

That is a mistake. Markway did not get pinned that quickly. As I recall it, I think it was 9 seconds, but maybe it was listed as 10 and that was a misprint.

Does anyone have results by weight class?

Lee Cottrell from Farragut is pretty good, but was beaten by Jeremy Branam of Halls at the Halls Tournament last weekend. Carlos Lemus is good, but I don't think that he is a serious contender at state. Toler is also really good, but I think that Creagan and Houston are better than he is. Turner from Clarkville and Musser from Brentwood are also top state contenders.

Last night at McCallie, Spencer Manley recorded a pin in either 4 or 5 seconds. I think that at least ties the record.

It will be very close, but I think that Farragut can pull it off.

Yeah he should be the best at 130. His biggest competition would be Willie Furman from Red Bank.

The Maryville kid is okay, but i think that he got beat by Jesse Gainer from South-Doyle. Gainer is pretty good, but I definently think that Justin Gooden could give Lane a run for his money.

Yeah, he is right. Scooter Houston is a great wrestler and I think that he might have won state last year if he wasn't disqualified. He is definently up there with the others.

Does anyone have individual results from Maryville vs. Seymour? I would like to know.

Farragut is good, but I don't think that they can realistically win state duals at all. Does anyone know if they have wrestled Maryville? I hate to give them bigger heads than they already have but I think that Farragut and them would be a good match.
