In my opinion Forrest started out 0-9 because of losing one of their starting seniors after the first couple of games. (still not sure what happened there) They had to regroup and find theirselves again. And find theirselves they did, #1 in the Season and headed to #1 in the District Tournament. Great things happen when you are willing to work hard for it. All of this with a team that was expected to finish near the bottom of the district.

That is just an opinion like everything else on this forum. Once again good luck to all. Rockets make them believers!!!

Hey how about getting back to the subject. I think Forrest will win the District Championship in a good game. I really feel we can get to the Championship in the region. Good Luck to all Teams, but especially to the Rocket.

Except Sante Fe did get beat by a 11A team this year. Let the games begin.

Forrest beats Huntland to advance to the championship.

Still hanging on. Forrest beat Huntland 61-49 to advance to the Championship game Friday night at Motlow. They will play the winner of the Cascade-Moore County game.

There will be four teams from 11a move on to region play. Forrest Huntland Cascade Moore County

Forrest only loses one senior. So they will be strong next year and hopefully compete well in the new district.

Thanks for clearing it up. Well I guess we will have to wait and see how it goes. Do you anything about the caliber of play of the other teams?

I don't know anything about the other teams. I just don't understand the change.

Is this something that happens every so often? What do you all think about the change?

I heard Forest will be in a different District next year. Does anyone have any details and is anyone else from 11A going with them?

From what I heard, TSSAA has a new rule that you have to have the capacity to hold 1000 people. It has to be permanent seating. I believe in district 11A that only leaves Community, Eagleville and Cornersville with the ability to host a tournament.

Are the brackets set up yet? Any info on what night Forrest will start in the tournament?

In the past several years at Forrest they have had technicals called on them for pinning the ball to the backboard and slapping the backboard. So evidentally there seems to be a problem interpreting the rules.

Will the weather interfere with the game again. I hear we may get up to an inch of snow tonight.

Living up to the reputation Moore County as usual was a tough place to play and come away with the WIN. 54-52 Forrest. Rockets all the way.
