  1. Close game, but the way Richland is playing... Richland by 5... I just dont see MC coming into this game prepared for what it coming... 58-53 book it and lock it
  2. I wouldnt say that just yet... There is alot of basketball to be played. One thing this team had to overcome was the losing atmosphere that surrounded this team for the past couple of seasons. Im not pointing fingers at or coaches, but when you dont win ball games it can be difficult to remember HOW to win. They are playing TEAM basketball right now. If they keep this up into mid January, we may start talking about that then... For now, they are a solid team that is playing solid basketball. Richland, Culleoka, Moore Co. thats the top three no doubt about it. Right now I say Moore Co. #1 Richland and Culleoka share the #2 spot. Unless Culleoka can change from a one trick pony, Richland and Moore Co. are a solid 1,2.
  3. Culleoka is led by the BEST Sophomore in the state. He could be a D-Wade. The Warriors would be a much better team if he got a little more selfish and would just shine like the star he can be. Now dont bash me saying... What he needs to be a selfish player?? He needs to penetrate and score more. Demario, maybe you dont realize this but, NO ONE CAN STOP YOU. Culleoka by 11... by 25 if Demario reads this post lol. As far as the other game, CA has some great shooters and a decent post game, but the Wildcats have Mr. Higginbottom. If he is hot and the guards can provide enough offense that they cant just guard him, in a shocker Santa Fe by 2 in two OTs lol. On the flipside, if those things do not happen an CA traps and forces turnovers, Bulldogs by 9.
  4. Radio I agree. Also traveling on that first move without dribbling was not called. If you were there for the Richland game, three straight possessions it was called. Referees have an extremely tough job though. I respect them alot for what they do. I would love to ref and I would like to, but Im not sure how to get involved. In a referee consistency is the key and it was not there tonight.
  5. Warf handled the ball well. Santa Fe has a shot Wednesday, but like you said rep as long as they feed the big man til he wants to step away from the table.
  6. Yeah sorry about that rep, didnt see it til I posted. I think I filled in a little bit of how the game we down though.
  7. In a wild one at Richland, the Wildcats stunned Moore Co. Led by Senior Roger Higginbottom, the cats led the whole way. With a score of 48-38 the Wildcats had the game well in hand. After a barrage of turnovers, the Blue Raiders charged back. Trailing with 3.4 seconds to play, Higginbottom was fouled in the act of shooting. As if ice ran through his veins, he drained both to send the game into OT. The first two overtimes were filled with bad calls for both teams. With Moore County having a chance to execute to win, the Raiders failed. The Cats played a 3rd OT riddled with questionable plays and coaching moves. Roger Higginbottom's 37pts proved to be the difference in a W or an L. With less than a minute to play Jake Warf sank a three to put the Cats ahead 77-76. The Raiders ran the clock down and failed to convert a shot. With .8 seconds remaining Moore County' season ended after a missed three pointer, giving the Wilcats the unlikely upset. Congratulations to both teams on a truly memorable game.
  8. Demario Williams from Culleoka is a diaper dandy Soph guard... Love watchin the guy play.. Needs to up his O though if he wants to play at the next level... College coaches dont like seein a single A kid putting up 10 a game... But the kid can play and is a joy to watch.
  9. Richland got outcoached... And it didnt help that the team just doesnt play well... To many I's in that team. Sorry I had to say that guys
  10. jw how did Minor do? What hurt him so bad?
  11. I gotta go with MP. I would love to see our 11a brothers win, but MP can and will stroke the ball. We really played a sloppy game against MP. Jackson pitched his heart out even though he was sick thowin up all day. Gotta admire the courage in that. Back to the topic, I believe that Kinsman would have to have his curve workin to beat them. First time he faced us, he couldnt throw it for a strike. Second time around he did. I truely believe Minor will beat whoever they play in the Sub-State. He is truely a class act, I really enjoy watchin him pitch. So whether it be the 'Pasture or DCA. Minor is FOR REAL. Best pitcher in single A ball. Tuten will need to be a little sharper than he was against us. Who knows I wouldnt doubt seein two teams from our region in state. MP 7 CH-3
  12. Just wanna see what people think about this game. Im not gonna make a statement being a player and all.
  13. Richland played both of these teams and with Woodlee on the mound Meigs will have a very tough time with Grundy. However Miegs has some good sticks, not jus in the top of the order but all the way through. I know I pitched against them there very smart hitters and will hit what you throw where you throw it.
  14. Richland: Jon Jackson, Jamie Whitworth ( when healthy a teriffic SS), Cory Pickett possibly the best up and coming prospect this 8th grader batted .408 with 1 HR he is definately going to be a player. Chris Sisk has a very good glove on the hot corner. They have two lefty pitchers who are very tough when on. Forrest: Mikey Minor, this kid is for real and a ture class act I have nothing but respect and admiration for him even though I struck him out in the tourney in his last at bat lol jk. Kinsman is a very good all around player. Good catcher in Albarran. The lamb kid is pretty good as well. Communtiy" Rex Brothers Huntland" K.W Smith Eagleville: the Vaughn kid
  15. We beat Unionville today 13-3. The pitcher was stupid though and the 3 runs shouldnt have happened. Any info on the outcome of other District 11A and 12A would be appreciated.
