I am glad Alvin signed with Middle. Coach Stockstill seems real excited about having him on the team, if he keeps working hard, Alvin should have a great future in Murfreesboro.

Heard Alvin went to MTSU this weekend and that MTSU is back on his list. Anyone heard this, has Alvin decommitted to Ark St? I hope he ends up at Middle, this new coaching staff will bring a lot of excitement to the team.

I read an article today that the former staff at MTSU offered Alvin a scholarship, but he wasn't too interested. Has anyone heard of the schools he is interested in and does the new staff at MTSU have a chance to get him, with the new coach being a former TE's coach, seems like all TE's would have to give him look.

Rankin after the game on Sat. talked about "being relieved" they won. I think he might want to move onto a new challenge. The monster he built at Riverdale, where it's a state title or failure has to wear on the head man after awhile. And I don't believe that Riverdale would be doomed if Ranking left.

possum, there was an article in the tennessean(or maybe the KNS) that said Spurrier called Crompton, and he told Steve he wasn't interested and he was going to UT. BTW, the rumor out of Knoxville is Schaffer is transfering to UCF or USF.

Basillio has been working at 850 am since The Team went off the air. He did the game last year, so he will probably do them again.
