The Moore County team is playing with no emotion right now. To win you have to play with emotion and for some reason their is none on this team. The team has made more errors in the last four games than they had made the reat of the year. I know to compete you have to be excited and we just don't have the that right now. Teams should get better as the season goes on but we are going down hill.

PH4u belive me I know the game a lot better than your coach ever will. I guess the fact you and her know so much, is the reason that a very weak Unionvillle team destroyed Moore County the last two days. Moore County lost 10 to 0 today in five innings making no less than ten errors.

When did softball become bigger than family? It is game NOT LIFE AND DEATH and any coach that thinks different is a jerk. By the way I have been coaching for twenty years.

Do you think your lead off hitter should slap bunt everytime she bats? This includes with bases loaded and two outs. The Coach at Moore County has had her lead off batter slap bunt everytime she has batted all year long. Batting Average around .150 On base percentage .20%

What is your thoughts on a the way the season is going for Moore County and their coach. The team has only won five games and had four returning seniors and two juniors. Also what do you think about having your the same player slap bunt everytime she comes up to bat. I think the team should have been a lot better than they are.

Someone asked me if there are still any colleges that play slow pitch. I told them that I am not sure, but I want to think that someone had told me that there are still some small colleges that play slow pitch. Does anyone know?

Richland's first batter hit the first pitch over the centerfield fence for a home run. After the HR Moore County jumped out to a 8 to 2 lead going into the seveth. Moore County had some errors that let Richland get back into the game. Moore County battled back but could not overcome the ten runs allowed in the 7th. The final was RHS 12, MC 10.

Shelbyville played at Moore County today. Shelbyville won but Moore County looked much improved and could be a team to watch this year. They hit the ball good against a good Shelbyville pitcher and played good defense except for a few mental errors. Their basketball players have just began to practice this week so the mental mistakes were expected.

I think that is a bad move on your coaches part. The main reason for softball and all high school sports is to encourage players not to tear them down. I have been coaching for years and I have never cut a player and never will. You might not be able to play them on the varsity but there is nothing wrong with using them on a B team. I have had players that would not have make a cut and latter they came on to be great players for me. My thinking is you are always building for the furture.

I have ten years coaching experience three as a head high school softball coach, 7 as a head travel team softball coach, ten years as a assistant football coach, two years head coaching experience in tack and field.
