From what I have read, and seen in the papers, Sweetwater has a good football team, but don't let Coffee County's record fool you they have several good players. They gave us a fit Thursday night at home. They have a good QB., Tailback, Center, in #59 Phillip Jacobs, and a excellent WR./ Safety in # 45 Jamie Norris who leads the team in receiving and in tackles.Unless they just quit,(I think that they were eliminated from the playoffs Friday night with Cookeville's win over Cumberland Co., but I could be wrong) which I don't look for that to happen, I wouldn't look for that 63-0 score if I were you.

It should be a good game, both teams are very similar in the types of offense that they run. After talking to several F.C. people they tell me that Franklin Co. primairly runs the ball and doesn't throw it very much, while L.C. also runs the ball primairly and throws the ball every once in a while. Both have good running Q.B.'s that are very young and exciting to watch. Another thing to take in account is the fact that most of these kids have played against each other in Jr. High for the past 2 or 3 years so they also know a lot about each other.

I agree, I have been purchasing the book for quite a few years, but the last couple of years it has been pratically impossible to find. I have just given up on finding it anywhere around here. The book comes in very handy for me, as I do the Lincoln County Stats, and work on the radio team, that broadcasts the games, it comes in very handy to check out our upcoming opponents.But it has been such a hassle to find one, I have just given up on finding it. And if I can't find one BEFORE the season starts I go to other outlets such as newspapers, and the internet, to find out the info. that I need.
