  1. Brett is my little brother and i am saying that hes pretty pretty good, dont know if he's the best, but he pinned his way through the tournament that included Baylor, McCallie, and BradleySoddy's middle school teams. If there was a middle school state, that would have been it and he pinned his way through. He's also going to tournaments out of town following his city championship win. He'll be one to look out for next year.
  2. I dunno who you are talking about, but the 138 pounder from cbhs pinned his way through, including the semis. That Gatling kid is the real deal, just wait another year for him to be high school
  3. That's true, middle tenn. has many problems. But how about that Gatling kid, he pinned his way through. He's pretty stout. He'll be there in Febuary next year, look out.
  4. Blue- if you knew anything about the match, obviously not, the three weights you mentioned wouldn't have mattered. 171, Marable will beat Luttrel. 160 and 275 mba won anyways. We'll see what happens in a mbacbhs dual later, stay in chattanooga and worry about beating East Ridge.
  5. I think I would put Patrick Simpson at 112 instead of Josh West.
  6. Luttrell had the SATs we were told. He didn't want to wrestle him before the McCallie tourney if you want my opinion. As far as the score goes, Father Ryan was real impressive and could go anywhere in Tennessee and clean house. They are serious state contenders and are (in my opinion) a sleeping giant this year. CBHS can beat MBA, they (MBA) aren't impressive. Goodman was out of shape and sloppy. Beat their middle weights and hang tight with their upper weights - MBA loss. Ryan will put a beaten on MBA, again, my prediction. Ryan by about 15-20 over the big red this year. [Edited by thegatling on 12-16-02 2:16P] [Edited by thegatling on 12-16-02 2:17P]
  7. We'll see how he does against lil Dunning at McCallie. I saw little Dunning in action against cbhs, collierville, and houston, he's a solid 103.
  8. I personally think that cheerleaders are good. They add to the atmosphere and puts more girls in the gym. I enjoy having them there, they inspire.
  9. I won't say anything about the refs, they do stink. And people stall in high school, of course they're going to stall in middle school. Sometimes people stall better than others and get away with it. Take nothing away from that Gatling kid though. He looks like the real deal to me.
  10. Hey, did anyone know the results of the Sonic invitational in Nashville? I heard that the Gatling kid from CBHS won, he's pretty good.
  11. I agree, we're done with our say.
  12. ....in this post, I don't think I put anyone down, but I'm fixin to. Cornpop, that's a creative name, be sure to call me when you reach the first grade. Badwizard, why don't you just stay off the one computer in your po-dunk town thats only had indoor plumbing for four years and make something of yourself. And if you look at the thread, it's about west tennessee wrestling. Since you have nothing to say about west tennessee wrestling and have no clue where you are or what you're talking about, don't post anything here. Post something under I wrestle for a public school and bradley and soddy will beat me for the rest of my career.
  13. YAY!!! YAY!! YAY!!! Let's all just get together and hug!! YAY!! Everyone loves everyone, I'm just so happy. I want to see Leen and James hanging out. I also hope that Catliff and Ryan Scott love each other too. That's what you gotta love about wrestling, no animosity, just love.

Is it just me, or am I missing something? Straight up, CBHS beat Kenwood, Hadley of Clarksville was rocked by the OW from CBHS. It's funny that you don't give a crap about DII considering that five of the top ten teams in the state are DII teams (we have less schools than private if you didnt know that smart one) Obviously matwizard, you have mental issues and should seek help soon. We (CBHS) are the ones that had our say, and we're done. You keep ragging your mouth like someone cares, lay off cbhs. I think you are lower than whale crap. [Edited by thegatling on 12-10-02 2:10P]
  15. Can't leave anything alone, can we. Torro, I usually like most people, but I don't like you. You are obviously a divion I wrestler that has limited knowledge and you know how to do few things...such as getting pinned, counting lights of a ceiling, designer clothing, ect. You obviously don't know what you're talking about. Let's put this in perspective for your feeble mind, we don't buy (cuss word) and we don't want another division, we want one division. It's the DI that doesn't want to wrestle us. CBHS wasn't the only ones saying that the brackets looked stacked, other people noticed it, humm...must be because they were. Obviously, if a west TN team wants to win in middle TN they will have to be by far the best team. That's ok, because it's just fuel to the flame. We'll work on being beyond our competition, that way people will complain when they have a CBHS wrestler in their bracket period. Torro, lay off CBHS [Edited by DeeOne on 12-9-02 6:16P] [Edited by DeeOne on 12-9-02 6:19P]

This weekend is the CBHS duals in Memphis. It's only a one day dual tournament and it's round robin. The teams there will be CBHS, Father Ryan, MBA, and Brentwood Academy. There might be another Memphis team there, but I'm not quite sure. Yes, I'll be there and I will post the results, there will be some good match-ups.

Mike (171 Jr.) and Nick (152 soph.) are ranked second and third I believe. Mike will wrestle Lutrell from MBA who is seeded number one this weekend. If your bored this weekend, come to the CBHS duals. The Marable/Lutrell match will be worth the trip. I also think that Ryan and MBA will tie up for the first time this year there. Plus, CBHS will represent west Tenn.......
  19. I can die a happy man now
  20. No smart ellec comments, you make a valid point. That is true for one wrestler or even a couple of wrestlers, but it's hard to win a tournament as a team when you have the finals in the first round. It's ok, the tourney's over and CBHS will be fine the rest of the year. Only two guys are graduating from CBHS's team this year, their whole team will be back this year (including both Marables) It'll be interesting to see if stacked brackets will even matter next year.
  21. Just Wrestle- was that a complement or was that a smart ellec comment? hey, just wrestle
  22. This thread is about the war at the wood. CBHS won the war at the wood. Is there anything else to say about it?
  23. It is obvious that Matwizard that you don't know what you're talking about. Besides being good at getting pinned, designer clothing, hair styling, ect., try being good at making logical statements. Kenwood did an awesome job at rigging the tournament. We (CBHS) has an invitational in January. We have many out of town teams (Helias, MI CBC, MI St. Paul) and many in state good teams us (CBHS), Collierville and Father Ryan. I invite Kenwood to come to our tournament, we'll put them in the right pools
  24. Don't talk smack about Leen. Practice is practice. We will see if they wrestle at McCallie.
  25. We (CBHS) did not wrestle a single Kenwood wrestlers in pool play and only two Clarksville wrestlers. Funny how we beat them the night before then they put 12 in the semis and we only have 4? Hummmmmm.... Just Wrestle
