I was just curious to see if anyone knows the 3-AAA all region?

It absolutely amazes me how things like this are treated in Soddy Daisy. Doesn't it seem just a little strange to anyone that the high school has fired/let go 3 major coaches in about 3-4 months??? Maybe its because it seems normal to all of us from this area, but I assure you that everything that happens in SD gets taken too far because everyone feels that THEY need to be a part of it. Any rumor you hear these days, gurantee it will be from Soddy. That was a pointless rant, but in reply to the question: Yes, Seals is out. The new coach has not been announced. Rumor has it that Wood was a POSSIBLE choice but i find that highly unlikely. The petition? Yes, there was one and both parents and principal alike were involved. I don't have any "inside sources" but I do play for SD so this is the only pure facts i know as of now.

lol, this is awesome...I never noticed there was church league stuff posted on here. This game last night was definitely worth watching, I just wish half of the guys played for the SDHS team!

I agree that she is underated by far. Not only does she have excellent post moves inside, but she can bring it up the court, drive and pop the three. She's also an excellent passer and sees the floor well. She's also the kind of gal that has an evident love for the game and the will to work. I truly hope she gets the recognition she deserves

Looks like SD showed up and brought their A game. SD by 10+ it was.

Bledsoe Co. looked to be a pretty smooth team at the tourny; they reminded me of an AAU team the way they ran the court and executed. Any idea how they'll do this season?

I agree that Kristy Minton will be key for Red Bank this year, but if Soddy Daisy can show up and play to their ability, I don't think Red Bank has much of a chance. Also the fact that RB beat SD at RB last season should get the SD girls pretty fired up to win this one.

Brandi Ables from Soddy Daisy; she may not be the tallest girl out there but she has the moves, the heart, plus a good 3 pointer. She also played well in AAU this summer.

Yes it wasn't a misprint that Soddy Daisy beat Cleveland Tuesday night, and it sure wasn't a fluke. Soddy Daisy girls and coaches have been working hard all summer and plan to keep playing well against teams like Cleveland and Bradley. Keep an eye on us!
