I could see the logic behind that from a Lion fan. Reality is CC has been well below average for awhile now, probably not a David. SC, on the other hand has been well above average, though probably not a giant. Bottom line, SC plays well, Owls win!!!.

One thing is for sure, bigpun. There is no chance of CC sneaking around and doing anything. Right now, the Lions are just like a 7 footer in. Japan. Everyone is aware of where he is. The thing that remains to be seen is whether or not CC really is that giant or still just your average dude.

I sure hope CC can get healthy quickly! IMO, they have to come to Carthage at 100% to have even the slimmest chance for a win.

Here's one... DeKalb bests the Lions by 9. The "SC" beats Dekalb by 7. Looks like the Lions have the standard 2+ TD loss on the horizon.

Macon Co. has little positive consitancy in the program, therefore their very average talent doesn't have a chance to develop into competitive players. On top of the fundamental problems, they are young and have a tough slate to play. Right now, to beat anyone on the schedule they would have to play over their head. If given the chance, Goolsby and Co. have a shot at developing the stability needed to become more able.

White House is a good football team, too! Just a hard fought game between 2 very good programs. Losing Dixon hurt WH but SC lost starting TB as well. Lights out play from SC LBs in big situations!! Good luck to WH from here on out.

I've heard Booger McCormick tales all my life. My grand-daddy knows a bunch of them. Apparently he averheard a couple of guys at the stockbarn talk about having to haul a load to New York. Booger told them he sure would like to see NY. They wouldn't let him ride. He said, "alright, I'll beat you #*#*+*# (fellers) up there then!" He took off hitchhiking and, sure enough, he was the first person they saw when they got up there!!! GO BIG OWLS!!!!!!
