Thank you for taking an interest and asking about "our boys". I agree with Kev, Coach Johnson did a great job his first year out. I don't think anyone could have done much better.

I haven't seen UH play in years, but they were very tough as I remember.... Good Luck, Cosby...go after it!!

I don't know why you have chosen to single me out of all the Hancock County fans that visit this site. And make this a personal thing between the two of us. I don't know you, you don't know me. Within 30 minutes of hearing that Cosby defeated Hancock, more than likely before most of Cosby's fans returned home, I was here, offering my congratulations to the team. If I have somehow offended you to warrant this public attack, then I apologize. Yes, I stood by my Hancock Indian Team until the end, as I would expect you or any other Cosby Fan to do the same. I offered a brief, "better luck next year word" to the Hancock Indians and then offered congratulations and hope that Cosby represents East Tennessee well in the Tourney. I still do. I made similar comments throughout the boards expressing my congratulations to the Cosby team. I don't appreciate you knocking down something you don't understand. I don't appreciate your public attack on me. And I wouldn't be suprised if your comments get this board locked. As for my not knowing about the "ladies" I mentioned that were in attendance 2 years ago, at Hancock for Sub-state. I was on the stage, directly across from them, I saw every move they made. For your information, the game was over almost a week ago. Please be an adult, and let it go. I will no longer stoop to your level and continue this debate, or with your childish banter. I wish you well on your endeavors, and hope to never hear from you again.

No offense to Clinch, but why in the world does anyone think they should "combine" with Hancock??? Hello?!?!? All these geography majors...They are in different counties!

I wasn't in attendance, and here in this forum is why. Cosby started ragging on us on FRIDAY, do you think that "I" want to be in a hostile crowd like that??? NO THANK YOU! Not that I couldn't hold my own, but I didn't want to put myself through the stress.

The HANCOCK fans that have posted here have not been mean spirited (the ones I have read so far) and are not bragging. I hope and pray each team does well and that no one gets hurt. (Some of the Cosby fans haven't been THAT courteous) When you make a lot of brags, it's harder to eat the crow if things don't go well.

AMEN!! Hancock County SHOULD be given the same courtesy, but since when has Cosby been very courteous to us? And as far as the fans of Cosby go, all of them were fine except for a small group of "ladies" I use that term loosely because they weren't very ladylike! GO INDIANS!!!!!!

I played basketball at Hancock County High School, and I have never seen "street ball" win championships. Coach Seal worried about getting one player to college, like Mike Matthews, and letting "hometown boys", like Brad Seal, down. Brad Seal has shown me that he was a LOT better than Mike Matthews. Coach Johnson seems to have this "street ball" down as his style too. Yes, he has won and will win a few games, but I don't think that will get them through the State Championship. God bless if our "so experienced" Assistant Coach has to fill in the head coaching position, he looks at the player's family, not at their abilities.
