Hey kenwoodrun, how did the meet turnout? I haven't seen any results anywhere.

Lynette has staked her claim for fastest/best female athlete this past Friday. She won the 100m (12.2), the 200m (25.2), placed second in the 400m (57.76), second in long jump (18'01), third in the triple jump (36), and third in the pentahlon behind two very good Brentwood athletes. She is only a sophmore and will continue to blossom. Marquita Davis will have some competition at State. Lynette's times aren't as good as Davis's but she does way better when she has better competiton.

he wouldn't be the first. i can't think of the guy but someone has already qualified for hurdles n 100m. im sure someone here knows. its been posted before.

It must be adressed: after her performance at the Kenwood Classic, Lynette deserves more attention/respect than she is receiving(not that she won't get it anyway). I have seen people just throw names on here to boost up who people aren't legitimate state contenders but mark my words, this girl is legit. She is only a sophmore and she has dominated every meet she has been at(exception of a false start at the Great 8).She wins multiple events at will if not placing high in them(High,Triple,Long Jumps,100,200,400m). No disrespect to any other girls/teams, but Lynette Rives is, if not the best, one of the best athletes in the state.

Well its safe to say that this is Pearson's first step in claiming the 100/200m state crowns this year after winning both events yesterday. Keep workin CP!

I still think that wont make a difference. Maybe a 100 but not in his specialty, the 200. I have seen him hawk people ridiculously in the 4X200 last year and he is faster now. If you people think I'm crazy watch him tomorrow and judge for yourself. I'll jus put it like this, his only losses in the 200m came to Sean Waller, and we all know about him........

All I know is Chris Pearson is a lock to win the 200m. That man puts speed into a new meaning. He is the fastest human I've seen in person. No disrespect to anyone else but I don't see anybody beating him.

Not real sure about any AAU stuff but she did run in Germany. Them gurls sound pretty fast. I didn't want to come in and sound like I'm talkin junk, its just our school doesn't get much respect. I respect talent so I hope all 3 continue to improve.

I know Rives ran a 12.00 in the 100m last Tues. She is only a sophmore. She might not be the fastest now but she is on the right track. Plus, she has swept all her field events the past two meets (high,long,triple jump).

Antonio McGougan from Rossview is the best DT in the state.

Mason Boisseau was cheated: he was the best DB in the region.

There is a huge monster out of Clarksville named Antonio McGougan(#76)that has to be one of the top DLmen in the state. Should be all mid-state. He had about 70 tackles and about 10-13 sacks.
