The problem with deciding the winner of this award is that most of the voters will not have seen either of these athletes in action. They will only be using their stats and the word of others. Therefore a fans idea of which of the two is best is just as legitimate as one of the committee members. Their vote just doesn't count.

Butler isn't a safety. He's a linebacker. The safety position is Dailey or freshman Jed Davis.

What did Dailey have tonight? 300 yards on 2 carries?

He is averaging over 13 yards per carry. He hasn't passed very often because he hasn't needed to. Many pass plays don't gain 13 yards so why pass? I believe the Collinwood game is the only game that he has played the entire game. In the loss to Giles County he did not play the second half. Didn't need to chance an injury to a 3A team. In the loss to Ezell Harding, he was having really bad cramps and couldn't finish the game. In all other games he was through by halftime or after three quarters because of the score. One game he only had 3 carries because he scored on each carry. He is more of a running back playing quarterback. Mr. Football gives an award for the best back. It doesn't distinguish between quarterback and running back.

They won't need to play soccer. Collinwood will still be on the schedule.

The Tigers win easily. It was 31-0 at the half. Marco didn't run the ball at all the second half. Great game Tigers!

You got to go with MP in this one. PC has scored 31 points total this season. MP is averaging almost 30 points per game.

Have any of you actually watched Marco Dailey run? Forget outrunning you. I'm sure he can do that. The problem for defenses is he will just run over you.

The last time I was at the Crackerjack Palace, my prize was getting to walk in the sewage along the sidelines.

Marco had 17 carries for over 220 yards. That's from the quarterback position.
