This should be a very good game with Page at 18-2 and Loretto coming off wins vs Giles Co. and Lewis Co. I think Page will win though, but I'm a little biased towards Page. Any comments from you Mustang fans?

Fairview 55, Houston Co. 48 - Congratulations Lady Yellowjackets. The Tennessean still doesn't have your score. I guess Houston didn't send it in, although they sent their boys score. Maybe someone at Fairview should do it. Glad to see some pictures at CoachT.

Fairview also has to reschedule the Marshall Co. game at Fairview originally set for 1-17-03. Their schedule shows the Loretto game originally set for 1-24-03 to now be 2-15-03. Somebody (Coach Bledsoe) needs to clear this mess up. These district games must be played even at the expense of cancelling non-district games.

For middle TN, "The Tennessean" shows district standings under the teams schedule, but as coacht states they are only as accurate as the data entered. Some teams are very bad about reporting their results so sometimes I check local newspapers if possible. It's very frustrating to know that a game has been played and not finding the results anywhere.

Great - can't wait for the "and more..." part. Any hints? All of you at CoachT do a great job. Sometimes you are the only place I can find a score.

OK, if you pay to get in, then the game counts - I don't think any officials work for free. Also, if the game is listed at the TSSAA site on your schedule, then it counts. But here's the thing - you count the game whether you win or lose - no selective choosing of only the games you win.

Congratulations to Lady Panthers for winning last night against Hampshire. This win should boost your confidence. I think by district tournament time, you'll be a team that everyone better look out for, especially since you'll be playing on your court. Keep up the good work. [Edited by PageMan on 1-28-03 7:57A]

Be careful gilessf, you still have to play at Fairview and don't forget Page will be coming to your house too. I hope you get good officials at Fairview, but be ready. Sometimes cream curdles you know.

Are you going to play Houston Co. and Loretto both on 2-15-03? I assume you'll cancel Houston Co. since Loretto is a district game that was rescheduled because of snow. Just curious.

Good idea. The Tennessean has rosters for middle TN, but sometimes they are missing #'s or incorrect. A second place like CoachT would be great. How about it?

Thanks goosevol. I looked at TSSAA, but they don't have a link for basketball yet. I looked at the handbook, but don't see anything there either. Maybe I don't know where to look for it at their site. Thanks again. Maybe I'll just email them and see if they'll answer me.

When district pairings for the tournament are set, if two teams have split during the season and their district record is the same, does their overall record determine their placement in the bracket? That's why I concerned about Hall of Fame games being included in the overall record. If the official season started Monday 11-25-03, then any games before that time should not count. This TSSAA policy of counting games if you want to is a inconsistant stance that I hope will be cleared up.

It was a close game throughout where both teams hit 10 of 12 FT's (83.3%) and Fairview had 4 three's to Page's 3. Nicole Bagsby's 12 pts. along with Lanie Barker & Meredith McCarville getting 9 each showed a good balanced attack. Kelly Forrest had 8 with 2 three's. Fairview's Kori Bledsoe had 14 pts. and Autumn Boaz had 12 including 3 three's. If Fairview could have hit some more three's and had a few less turnovers, it might have turned out different. A great game to watch for those in attendance.

Thanks for responding jacketpride24. You can have your two wins against Ravenwood & Creek Wood, two new schools with only freshmen & soph. players. Everyone who has looked at your schedule knows the truth. You only play 1-A & Div. II schools in your non-distict games. I can't wait to beat the Lady Yellowjackets tonight at Page. Have a nice day.

Page girls play at 5:00 followed by the boys game at 6:30 or so. And jacketpride24, put away your broom - there'll be no sweep unless yall bring your infamous officials like you had at Fairview. It will be a close game though. Why didn't you play Loretto last night - I don't think the roads were that bad. I guess you wanted to rest up for the game with us huh. I saw your coach at Page last night scouting us out. I guess he didn't have any trouble driving to Page. See you at Page.

Thanks to everyone who responeded. I saw in an article from the Memphis Commerical Appeal that if both teams agreed to count these Hall of Fame games, they would be included in their records. I just wanted to know if there was an official policy on this. Thanks again.
