Whoa whoa whoa. Slow down. Apparently you didn't READ the post very well. In no way was I putting anybody down. I simply said I'm glad that DRIVING to Middleton isn't an option. That is a long way down there. I didn't say anything about the Eagles or any other TEAM!!!! Just the DRIVE. Gee wiz!!!

I haven't seen either team play this season. I'm a fan of Halls and when it gets this late in the year you don't care where or who you are playing as long as you are playing, but I have to admit I'm glad Middleton isn't an option for Monday. Nothing against the fine people of Middleton or the town, but it's just that if Halls is unable to take the Jackets tomorrow night, the drive to Jackson is much easier than the drive to Middleton.

Good post storm!!! Hey Mike, I too was sweating bullets. I was getting frustrated with our gameplan for the most part. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out why we weren't pressing more, but we waited until we were down by seven with 4:30 to go in the game to turn the screws on D. I won't second-guess it since we won, but geesh!!! By the way, the block by Nance will be talked about for a very long time in the little town of Halls. It was simply awesome, especially considering Lajoel was saddled with four fouls. He is a senior and I suppose he decided he wasn't ready to call it quits yet. You could really see the agony on the faces of the Peabody kids after the game. They were standing around looking in total shock that it was over. They had given it their all, but somehow Halls took it from them. Unbelievable Regional Championship: Halls vs Greenfield....it just sounds right!!! Go Halls Tigers Go!!!

The Region 8A tourney starts Tuesday in Trenton, but does anybody know the format that the coaches settled on? I know they were suppose to vote this past Friday on one of two choices: 1) Only girls games the first two nights and then only boys games the next two nights. 2) Girl-Boy-Girl-Boy-Girl-Boy-Girl-Boy format Anybody?

I was hoping Middle would somehow win tonight because now Halls is matched up in the same bracket as host Trenton. Although Halls split with SF and swept Trenton, I'd much rather play the Devils in Trenton than Peabody's size on their home floor.

REGION 8A Dresden Greenfield converted a two-point halftime deficit into a come-from-behind win over Trenton Peabody. Trenton led by nine in the second before Greenfield began their comeback.
