It's called COACHING, Lionschs. It's called always looking ahead to that game when you're BEHIND by 20 points and having your team ready and in shape to press at that point in the game. It's obvious from other boards that you have a real problem with Lexington, but try not to let it cloud your judgement. You seem to know basketball -- probably played at some point -- so you should be able to look at things a little more objectivity. As for the strength of Lexington, I'm a middle Tennesseer who travels to West and gets to see some games. East may eat us up -- I have no idea -- but I think Lexington will hold their own in the West.

Lexington is going to go far this year -- even in this tough District. They've got some talent, but they've got an even MORE talented coach. Don't underestimate them. They're going to be strong next year, too.

No doubt Milan has a good team and Cagle has been outstanding. Don't take too much away from Lexington, Smith and that Gardner kid -- who, I believe, had 9 assists.

WAY TO GO LEXINGTON!!!! I had a feeling that this was the year the Tigers were going to begin their climb to the top and this District Championship is just the beginning for this team -- as long as Coach Gardner is at the helm. I've been watching this guy coach for a while and he knows how to build a program! Wish I could have seen the game. Hoping they'll make it a good run! And next year should be even better! Milan may have made some mistakes, but from the press reports I read, Lexington knew how to hang tough and take advantage of their opportunities. I'm beginning to think I wasted my membership on this board. DOESN'T ANYONE from West Tennessee -- Especially Lexington and Huntingdon -- look at these boards? I can't get any information in the newspapers up here and now I can't get any on the CoachT boards either! ANYONE have any information on Lexington or Huntingdon? Is it somewhere on the board and I'm missing it? :confused:

Hey, I'm a biz traveler who likes to catch games at Lexington High School and/or Huntingdon High School (used to live in West Tenn.) Any info on updates to their schedules? When is LHS vs Southside game that was cancelled because of snow? When does District start and where will District Tournament for LHS and HHS be held? Any comments on these two teams this year? Are they any good? How's the coaching -- guys and gals? THANKS!

Any other discussions of the Huntingdon team or the Lexington team on this board? I can't find any but don't really know how to search except go through all 68 pages of the message board....
