Mrnoitall you won the battle but i did have a few of the girls on Lincoln Co. team to tell me to tell you that they are THE LINCOLN CO> LADY FALCON SOFTBALL GIRLS and that they fill like they represented Lincoln Co very well this year and thought people recognized them as what they are and not just a football school,and they also left me with some other remarks to tell you but i just told them not to worry about what you thought. We where proud of them. I told them you where just having fun and you didnt mean to hurt their feelings though you have and i understood their feeelings toward you but just to remember you where a poor man with no money and had nothing else to do. I guess ill see you again next year. Hope you and Birdie can pull through these hard times.

Hey i got a good one for mrnoitall since Lincoln Co. is so bad and still not up to Coffee Co. class and its obvious we are not cause we know that we are still the underdogs for this game. In fact we havent figured out yet how we ever got in your top ten cause its obvious to us down here at the football school that we dont deserve to be even mentioned in the same class as coffee co. softball. So heres the deal since its a sure thing coffeee will win the district if for some strange reason Lincoln Co. got lucky and wins you have to come forward with who you are. Now i know there is very little chance we would win and you have to do this so come on lets see what your made of with your sure prediction. I realize im asking you to something that doesnt worry you in the least cause gosh who could ever think the unthinkable and coffee co not win the tournament. I dont know why i even thought of this knowing this is a sure bet win for you. Dang coffe probably beat us in 5 innings and then also cant forget those ladies from Lawrenceburg either. LOL Just having fun with you like you do with all of us. Best of luck to all the teams left in tournament,just hope we have some luck and come out on top.

This Thursday will be the 10 yr. anniversary of the first game played on the softball field at Lincoln County High School. Its hard to believe its already been that long. We will be playing Shelbyville which if im not wrong was the first team we played 10 yrs. ago on the field. There will be a special ceremony between the Junior Varsity and Varsity game somewhere around 6:30. All former players and parents are invited back for this special occasion and MRKNOWITALL and BIRDIE you are invited as our guest also so you can see first hand we are not just a football school{SORRY HAD TO SAY THAT}. Also anyone else that would like is invited.

big lincoln co fan but tell u right now i dont see a dimes difference in team and we know at tournament time we got out hands full but dont forget more tems than the two of us so we not counting our chickens before they hatch eggs i still think there are at least 2 more teams if not more in this district that could turn things completely around and for sure at tournament time

Lincoln County wins 3 to 1 not alot of hitting from either team,pass balls scored 2 for Lincoln County and 1 for Coffe County

It amazes me every year Coffee catches the devil on here. Now to be clear im from Lincoln Co. so not taking up for them but you think maybe people are a little jealous of Coffee Co softball program. Why dont you do like we did and take lessons from them. Look at our facility, look how our booster club has been so successful,look how we have started having some descent teams often, not just every once in awhile. I think its cause we saw what Coffee was doing and took the hint. I will leave you with one question,If Franklin Co had won 19 to 0 and their radioman posted big win would there have been this big of fuss. I DONT THINK SO! Now with that said good luck to all the teams in district 8 and no i dont think its going to be a cake walk for Coffee to win district this year nor do i think its one of their better teams they have had,but only time will tell.

Chae Ellis and Sarah Humphries are two seniors at LIncoln Co. Chae probably will sign with Martin College and Sarah is looking at different schools right now.As far as Coach Smith at Lincoln Co., I think he does a good job with his team,dont always agree but as parents we always trying to outguess the coach. The group of girls talked bout earlier in thread have mostly gone to basketball,soccer,private school now here in Lincoln Co. and some just had all they could take with parents wanting them to be super stars they never where. Oh well U KNOW! Good luck to all the 8aaa teams this year.

Lincoln County has you in our prayers. And yes this does help remind us all that winning is not always the goal that marks a true champion.

This is a fundraiser for our softball team that has raised money each yr for out team. It is feb 28th and we start serving at 5pm with door prizes at 6pm. I promise you it will be as good a meal as you have ever had. For 50 dollars you get two meals that are 14 oz ribeyes grilled that are marinated for 24 hrs 5 large shrimps baked potatos bread salad dessert and drink. Also your ticket is good for door prizes that amounts to 5000 dollars in cash with the final door prize being worth 2500 dollars. You can purchase a ticket at the door and the meal is served at the high school. I promise you when you leave you will be going home to start this as a fundraiser for your school. It makes a large amount of money for one night and by being door prizes it is legal,i assure you as we have been turned in by another association and everything checked out, Hey come on down i know you will be ready to go home and do the same thing. Oh mrknowitall if you come you can sit with me and we will have a large time. If want to know more just holler at coach smith and he can answer your questions. Oh as for as what it makes try anywhere from 10000 to 15000 dollars, but there is only one way to see what im talking about and thats come and see for yourselve.

Lincoln County has a freshman catcher that is going to be unreal and a freshman pitcher to go with it. I really believe they are a year away from having several years of being a very solid team. Only 2 seniors and one junior on the team and the sophmores.freshmans 8th graders and 7th graders have alot of talent. Oh yea the steak and shrimp dinner fundraiser that we are famous for is feb 28th,if you want a ticket and a meal that is unreal holler at coach smith. I promise you it is as good as it gets. Also no way will you come away hungry. And the door prizes are unreal. Come on mrknowitall come on down, i will let you sit with me and promise you a big time. Oh the softball girls are the waitresses for the night.

Come on Mrknowitall its too cold to get people all upset this early. Give them a break. lol Oh yea the football school is going to surprise some people this year. Alot of people even here think they are a year away from having several good years of ball but i believe with the two seniors they have this year as leaders they will be a tem to reckon with this year.

Well i guess you turned out to be ok,cause at the first of year i along with others where ready to hang you from the nearest tree. But as saying goes dont judge a person on the first time you meet them. Yea it has been fun ,for sure not always agreeing, but you turned out to be an alright guy or lady lol,we still dont know for sure. You have yourself a great summer and if get hungry for our famous ribeye sandwiches come to fayetteville for the host of christmas on the square second saturday of november. We will be there cooking ribeyes and homefries right out of an old time kettle.

Just my opinion ok,but to me it has to be Sarah Humphries from Lincoln County. She has had a fantastic season and has had to lead a large group of freshmans at the same time. I realize this probably will not happen since Lincoln County is not one of the top district teams this year,but she has to have some strong consideration. Now again before someone jumps all over me this is just my opinion. I realize there are other young ladies also that neeed to be considered.

LOL! We are ok with you for the most part.Yes we dont appreciate your remarks that we are just a football school but we are not losing sleep over it. However we do appreciate when you do say something nice about us even though you still have to throw in your little football remark. You do have your enemies on here and also friends and you have made it worth reading ,now remember i didnt say enjoyable to read, but we dont fall under your enemy list. So you dont have to worry about turning your back to us,just continue being nice sometimes and we will survive your style of posting.

Lincoln County Falcons girls did a great job last night with their win over Shelbyville. Great job again by the young freshman pitcher who some think is getting overworked but sure looks fresh to me. Also the bats come alive for the falcons. Also to the ladies from Shelbyville hold your heads high,last night was not your night but have had a great season and still sure you will be in the hunt to the end of district play and tournament time. Coach Smith,you have proved me correct from saying at the first of season with all the freshman you have that we would see a different team by tournament time. Congragulations to the young lady falcon softball team with a big win over Tullahoma. These young ladys have caught alot of negative remarks this season on here so now its time to give them some positive mouthing. I have watched a group of girls come along way since the beginning of the year even though there has been negative remarks not only here but with some parents of the team. Our young overworked freshman pitcher according to a few of us did an excellent job last night along with great defense from the other girls. Now not to say they are young and still have plenty to learn they have stuck together and can see possibly a good team in the future. Now girls we all know that before todays over you will be reminded your just a football school but we know better. Also i cant leave without saying Tullahoma has a fantastic team with great coach and i wish them good luck rest of year other than of course when they play us. I said at the first of the year there was no sure winner in this district by tournament time and the way i see it the field is open for who could come out on top at district tournament time. Good luck to all the teams in our district and all girls across the state that allow us older people enjoy watching the game.

ok its 12:30, right now looks like we have missed another rain,so we still on go as of now. the Huntsville stations say by 4:30 things should be clearing out. So we still hoping we will get thru this,maybe a delay but will play if anyway possible.

As of Friday at 9:30 ther has been no rain. We are starting to get calls and right now the border battle is still on as scheduled. I will post updates as the day goes along. Hoping the next storm will go north of us as the one this morning did. Sunshine and pretty right now.

Hey there is no doubt in my mind that you know the game and dont see how anyone could get on here and say different. But and i have to say this again,you just seem like besides picking games you just have to put a knife in people where you have to make unnessasary negative remarks. There are many softball people includintg myself that would love to talk personally with you about softball but because of things you have said on here you cant afford to come out in open due to it would be very unsafe for you. Now im not saying i would do anything to you but from talk i hear around ballfields from all over i would stay like you are now and never let anyone know who you are. Hey i really believe you are probably an alright guy so one more time please be nice. It will not kill you in fact probably make you feel better when you lay down at night.

You did good with your picks of top softball fields. Im not saying i agree with you in order you picked but have to say you did your homework. But i must ask you why you think its so cute with your remarks about different schools when you make a statement. Everybody knows Lincoln County is known for its football but do you have to keep throwing it in the faces of these young girls. Im taking from what ive read you coach youth sports so how can you feel good about yourselve when you lay down at night knowing you have come on here and hurt some young ladys feelings. This district this year is crazy for sure.Other upsets in my opinion last night but it looks like a fight is on for the number 2 spot and down. There has to be another way for you to head this threadother than LOSERS. None of these girls are losers in my book,but i guess you just cant help yourselve,U KNOW!
