Any comments on game?

What was the low down on the game?

I could be wrong but I thought Karns lost 4 starters!

With Clinton rolling on a 4 or 5 game win streak and Karns struggling with a loss to Campbell County and a near loss to Webb means blowout at Dragon Den!!

You know in district 3a anybody can win on any given night,especially if you don't bring your A game!

I guess the word contested means to me,that a hand in the face of a shooter and toward the end of game that was not happening for Powell,but that game is over.What is the most treys that Powell has made in a game this year?We also know that basketball is a tournament sport and the district is at OR where not many teams have success in recent years

Apparently you did not see the game because all but the first couple treys were contested.Let me know if Powell will hit that many treys in 1, 2 or a 3 game stretch again.

moc30,I believe you are getting ahead of yourself because in the fourth quarter Karns had several unforced turnovers and missed some open 3's that they usually make down the stretch.We are not taking anything away from Powell,they played a tremendous game.For your sake lets hope Powell can shoot 70% from downtown because if you do, you will be very tough down the stretch!Good luck the rest of the way.

Apparently you guys that believe that about the so-called home cooking at Karns must not have seen their games with Cleveland and S-D earlier.They were called for a boxing out call,a time out was awarded to Cleveland when the ball was already in Karns possession and a extra possession when the ball was clearly out on S-D.I believe if I was from Clinton I would look at the KHS and CHS games and see it looks like the home team dominates every time except for a couple times the last few years!

That is also a good point!Most of district 3a plays a tough non district schedule and it will help down the road.We need to have a better 3a showing in the region,other than only one team advancing past the first round.

Before you talk about the beavers NO DEFENSE,Here are some stats on district 3a team defense!Number pts. allowed in district play and against area 3a competition Local 3aaa comp. OAK RIDGE 62pts 3 district games, 65pts in 10 area games KHS 65pts 5 district games, 64pts with all 15 being 3a POWELL 60pts 5 district games, 66pts in 12 area games HALLS 71pts 2 district games, 71pts in 4 area games CENTRAL 64pts 5 district games, 63pts in 11 area game CLINTON 74pts 4 district games , 73pts in 11 area games CC 74pts 4 district games , 69pts in 6 area games I am not taking anything away from 1a,2a and private schools.

Apparently you haven't seen Karns play this year because you would not have made that comment.You get out scored 25 to 8 in the fourth then it looks like you should shoot more.You have to give S-D some credit for hitting some big shots.It is hard to hold the ball when you turn the ball over time after time.They are just kids and sometimes these things just happen!

I am curious about what makes a good defensive basketball team?What is the score,when you are a so-called good defensive team?I would like to find out which 3aaa team actually plays the best defense in bigcatt2 mind?

Why did Karns coach get let go?I thought he had a good record!Does anybody know details?

Should parents be able to control the future of high school coaches by complaining to principals and athletic directors about playing time?

WITH 6'9,6'9,6,7! I DONT THINK I WOULD BE TALKING TRASH TO ANYONE.YOU SHOULD BE PLAYING FOR REGION TITLES!SO JUST PLAY FOR REGION TITLE AND WIN FOR Clinton AND DISTRICT 3AAA.

ANY STARS HURTINGS OR ANY PROBLEMS WITH DEPTH GOING INTO TOURNEY?
