the thread is on the nicest field son, not on the ones that hold would be homeruns in... and whoever said seymours field is the best in tn is an idiot. There field isnt that nice. Farragut, William Blount, and Bearden are all really nice. Farragut has the best in east tn in my opinion.

brett is a great catcher. Very good arm and great defensively.

South Doyle traveled to Unicoi County after Dobyns bennet was to wet . The Kees beat unicoi 15-2 in 11 inings. Pitchers were McClain and Moneymaker. Also beat Dobyns Bennet 8-0. Pitchers were Holland and Brentz. Pretty good day for the kees. Dominant pitching by McClain and Holland especially and then the other guys to close it out. Craig Smith Hit 3 homeruns, Cody hawn hit 1, Lance McClain had one and Bryce Brentz had 1.

one reason he's ready to leave is because he should really be a senior .. he was held back so he would be older for his class. It doesnt matter though because he wouldve gone to a d-1 school had he graduated last year. he is leavin and goin to UT last i heard i dont think he's plannin on playin professionally before he goes to college but i may be wrong.. thats the last i heard. lance mcclain is one of the best senior pitchers in the east.

my preseason pole just by the paper goes like this 1. farragut 2. bearden 3. south doyle 4. maryville 5. willy b 6. heritage 7. west 8. sevier county bearden and sd are the exact oposite teams. SD can play some great d and has great pitching probly the best in the district besides maybe farragut. Bearden can hit like crazy and are pretty solid on d. There weakness wil be on the mound. i see sd beating bearden atleast once in the reg season.

bearden can rake, farragut is always good, sd has some great pitchers and maryville always in the mix. what about west, heritage, sevier county, and willy b????

lance mcclain and ryan holland of south doyle

mcclain is pitching very well. He threw a no hitter against bradley central for 4 innings on saturday. He has great stuff and throws midd 80's. Id say he will hit high 80's this and could possibly touch 90.

South Doyle plays dobyns bennet and unicoi county this upcoming sat (march 5th) i wonder how good these teams are??? anyone have any idea

South Doyle played three 5 inning games in a play-day at pigeon forge. The Cherokees beat Bradley Central 1-0, beat carter 8-3, and tied pigeon forge. McClain pitched a no hitter in 4 inning, and moneymaker finished the last inning against BC. Holland handled carter pretty well in 3 innings and conley and brentz finished it off. Bell started against pigeon forge and roberts finished. Great outing for the cherokees.

South Doyle played Knox Central in 8 innings . SD-18 CHS-1. pitchers for south doyle were McClain, Moneymaker, Bell,Brentz, Roberts, Conley, Richardson, and Cobb all threw 1 inning a peice and all look very strong.
