the thread is on the nicest field son, not on the ones that hold would be homeruns in... and whoever said seymours field is the best in tn is an idiot. There field isnt that nice. Farragut, William Blount, and Bearden are all really nice. Farragut has the best in east tn in my opinion.

brett is a great catcher. Very good arm and great defensively.

South Doyle traveled to Unicoi County after Dobyns bennet was to wet . The Kees beat unicoi 15-2 in 11 inings. Pitchers were McClain and Moneymaker. Also beat Dobyns Bennet 8-0. Pitchers were Holland and Brentz. Pretty good day for the kees. Dominant pitching by McClain and Holland especially and then the other guys to close it out. Craig Smith Hit 3 homeruns, Cody hawn hit 1, Lance McClain had one and Bryce Brentz had 1.

one reason he's ready to leave is because he should really be a senior .. he was held back so he would be older for his class. It doesnt matter though because he wouldve gone to a d-1 school had he graduated last year. he is leavin and goin to UT last i heard i dont think he's plannin on playin professionally before he goes to college but i may be wrong.. thats the last i heard. lance mcclain is one of the best senior pitchers in the east.

my preseason pole just by the paper goes like this 1. farragut 2. bearden 3. south doyle 4. maryville 5. willy b 6. heritage 7. west 8. sevier county bearden and sd are the exact oposite teams. SD can play some great d and has great pitching probly the best in the district besides maybe farragut. Bearden can hit like crazy and are pretty solid on d. There weakness wil be on the mound. i see sd beating bearden atleast once in the reg season.

bearden can rake, farragut is always good, sd has some great pitchers and maryville always in the mix. what about west, heritage, sevier county, and willy b????

lance mcclain and ryan holland of south doyle

mcclain is pitching very well. He threw a no hitter against bradley central for 4 innings on saturday. He has great stuff and throws midd 80's. Id say he will hit high 80's this and could possibly touch 90.

South Doyle plays dobyns bennet and unicoi county this upcoming sat (march 5th) i wonder how good these teams are??? anyone have any idea

South Doyle played three 5 inning games in a play-day at pigeon forge. The Cherokees beat Bradley Central 1-0, beat carter 8-3, and tied pigeon forge. McClain pitched a no hitter in 4 inning, and moneymaker finished the last inning against BC. Holland handled carter pretty well in 3 innings and conley and brentz finished it off. Bell started against pigeon forge and roberts finished. Great outing for the cherokees.

South Doyle played Knox Central in 8 innings . SD-18 CHS-1. pitchers for south doyle were McClain, Moneymaker, Bell,Brentz, Roberts, Conley, Richardson, and Cobb all threw 1 inning a peice and all look very strong.

South Doyle Schrimmaged Central tonight and beat there brains out like 18-1 or something like that. Young pitching is commin along for the cherokees

maybe its because the moron jumped over our guys back and fell on his head... and i dunno about seriously hurt i heard he bruised his shoulder also i do remember seein hhs coach at the last game... little guy yellin all over the place yeah thats him and we came back from being down like 21-6 at one point so we deserved every bit of that game

haha wasnt a slam.... are u kidding me... someone help me out here it did not hit the rim at all... you need to get your eyes check ole man cuz u gotta be blind. the pass came from about 4 ft beyond the 3 pt line and logan slamed it... he didnt slam very hard cuz of his knees beein sore but it was a slam. .... correct me if im wrong but a slam is dunk.. last time i checked

well we were gettin beat by bearden like 19 pts goin into the fourth and chad zurcher played awesome and we came back and won... and we were losin to karns by like 20 in the fourth and we came back to win by a last minute three by mapes. not to mention all the close calls we had with farragut both times...but we have given some games away like against halls.. i think we were winnin at the half by like 17 and then 20 somethin at one point and they came back to beat us. so we'll see hopefully we can make it right

see thats what u dont understand though and any body thats seen us play before the first maryville game will tell you that we have alot of other weapons. Lockart never plays enough to make a difference dispite his efforts in previous games that probly wouldnt have been won without him... and ryan hood and andy mapes can both shoot the three but the whole team seems like there not clickin lately. Say what u want and maybe we'll never know for sure becuase we may not start playin good but we are capable of beating maryville and alot of other teams. We are region worthy if not more... and we'll get outa our little funk were in and start playin good i hope.

did anyone see logan johnson slam the other night when we played maryville... i mean hands down i dont care if we got beat 122 to 5 that was incredible. Mapes through it from near half court and lj leaped up and alley oooped slamed it in .. then maryville shot a three and killed our momentum.... anyone got it on video??????

maryville will win by a good margin more than likely but i hope heritage kills them.

lol wow that doosh just told you. Anyone who says the refs were for us are full of it. Not sure us havin some good calls wouldve mattered but if we had had some fouls called earlier on maryville then maybe we wouldnt have given up. And our student section is tight so dont even say its not... you only wish yall were as loud and as creative... im still lovin the no face and 5 head chants not to mention gary coleman! i did however like how you didnt hound lockhart cuz that was shady last time
