    Catholic vs. Webb

Wait, Laborpussy, your name is Amit? I've heard of an Amit at Webb. As for the posts about Neil being for Webb ahead of his family, get real. Not only is Neil my cousin, we are both the same age and work together all summer long. I know a lot about the Webb people from him and the things he told me about how cool you guys are sure isn't showing in these posts, and I guarantee while he may not fight his friends from Webb for his family, he would surely fight the ones he doesn't like just bc his family is having trouble with them. And I really have no clue who herbold is, but by your sn mreed I think I have heard about you and Neil has told me good things. Anyway, good luck to both teams tonight. AusDan, please give me a call for the shows or I'll call you this weekend.

    Catholic vs. Webb

Herbold, I won't be attending the game, but my brother probably will and I am sure he would love to take you up on your offer. Please, by all means, show up to fight, because if you don't, you get the whole MacDonald family involved (including Webb alum Neil MacDonald), and when that happens, you got troubles pal.

    Catholic vs. Webb

Wow, just read what all of you wrote. It's all ridiculous. Although Laborpuss' comments were actually quite witty. Anyway, this argument will go back and forth until Friday, with the team losing making excuses. I expect Webb to be that team, but that doesn't mean Catholic can't lose either. I would just stop posting "predictions" on here and get on with my life and settle it all on Friday.

    Catholic vs. Webb

Jesus Christ, no team deserves to win. Just go out to the middle of the field and beat the unholy sugar out of one another, and the loser gives the winner five bucks, unless the loser is webb, in which case you must bend over and orally please yourselves as is your usual pre-game ritual before any big game. peace, love, and happiness from down under John Connor
  10. oh please post you chode
  11. Ummm, probably not... I seem to remember a reciever last year who was just as good, if not better, than both of the guys mentioned: Adarius Bowman from Noter Dame, who was actually invited to the U.S. Army All-American game and put on a show during the week at which Tom Lemming reported he was the most impressive receiver during practice all week. In the game I believe he caught a touchdown from Chris Leak (?). Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
  12. I seriously doubt Central could beat MBA. What was the score of their game against McCallie? 30-7 McCallie. I'm not sure if MBA has played McCallie this year, but even so, there is no way MBA could EVER lose to McCallie by that score. A team in Knoxville that might give MBA a fight is Knox Catholic. Just ask MBA fans about the game last year...
  13. AusDan I don't think anyone will argue about Catholic being the best basketball team in K-Town after they beat every team in Knoxville that they face. Btw, could you tell me the Knoxville teams on your schedule? P.S. Catholic basketball could be state champs this year. The only b-ball team in D II I see being a problem is Brentwood Academy, who probably has the most returning talent of any state champ from last year.
  14. Wow, DaCheese, talk about eating crow. Hey now you can call Catholic the team to beat in D II-AA this year.
  15. "overpower and destroy"? this isn't war we're talking about my man, it's high school football. the knock on the secondary of catholic is warranted, but i don't know how much of a passing offense bga will bring to the table tonight. if they do, that might play into catholic's hands because of their pass rush, but i doubt bga will do that. i believe they will probably try to pound it down catholic's throats. the last time catholic beat bga was when the seniors now were eighth graders, and bga was having quite the down year, while catholic had one of its better teams. and trust me da cheese, if you are attending the game tonight, you will notice more than a few offensive weapons for catholic.
  16. Um, I'm not sure if that's a fact, DaCheese. Catholic has weapons all over the field, not just two or three, I mean literally four to five guys that can take it all the way at any time. But I guess we'll find out Friday...
  17. Haha sure guys, BGA is good, but every time Catholic faces a better team this year, everyone bashes their schedule, and whoever said Webb might beat Catholic this Halloween, that won't happen. Catholic 28 Bga 21
  18. Haha sure guys, BGA is good, but every time Catholic faces a better team this year, everyone bashes their schedule, and whoever said Webb might beat Catholic this Halloween, that won't happen. Catholic 28 Bga 21

    Knox Catholic

countrypk? are you still in high school? i guess you came crawling out of your hole to bash catholic one more time, but you are correct about the scheduling. Not very ambitious on the Irish's part, but you can't fault the players. I think Catholic is a good team, but the only way to prove that to everyone is to play a good game against BGA. If they don't win, they at least have to make it close.
  20. Here's the score guys: Catholic 48 Wartburg 16
  21. I checked the Hapton- Cath. score and it was 49-18 Cath. Apparently the offense got untracked in the second half. I didn't attend that game, so I'm not sure how we got so many points, but the least Catholic has scored this year is 26 and I think they are averaging almost 40 a game, but you're right, the offense for Catholic is one of the best in the state that I have seen so far. Just tons of weapons, but the D isn't too shabby either. Good pass coverage, and OK run defense. Knox Cath. beat Pittman 27-0 first game of the year. i think G-P came out flat that game, but give credit to Catholic, they have been picked to lose 3 games so far this year and they are 6-0.
  22. groundround are you sure Knox Catholic's D wasn't better? Especially considering they whupped up on both these teams? Just wondering. But if not, I'd have to say Pittman was one of the better teams we played this year, maybe not offensively, but defensively they were good.
