  1. Yep, this is an IMPACT game. Fanning is a great back and MP will not stop him, but they will slow him down somewhat. If the MP-D continues to improve as they have over the past few weeks he will have his lowest #'s of the season in this game. Huntland is NOT coming to Mt. Pleasant expecting to loose, they will have there A game but in the end the TIGERS will prevail. MP 28 HUNTLAND 22. ssssssss how do you NOT count Moore County in on your picks? I think the final 4 will be Collinwood, Wayne Co., Mt. Pleasant, and Moore County.
  2. Hey check it out! Trojangirl finally picks the Tiger's You've hit a few on the nose hope your right on this one. That smell could be a hornet in the new BUG ZAPPER'S , installed at MPHS.
  3. I'm saying Moore County 21-14, C'mon MC it's time to pull out of the bad streak your in, beat them Rockets!
  4. Thanks. Man did Mr. Josh Kelley have a game or what!!!
  5. Oh yea, and by the way tigerfanontheradio I haven't got to hear ya'll call any games this year as I have been hanging on the fence with every play, but all my dogs tell me you and the guys are doing a fine job putting it out to the folks who can't make the games, keep up the good work FELLOWS!
  6. This will be another epic battle in the big war the Tiger's are engaged in this season. Huntland is a very fine team and will be coming to Mt. Pleasant with a chip on there shoulder after a tough loss. I think this Tiger team will be ready and will fight 'till the final whistle. Go Tiger's keep getting better each week and good things will happen for you.
  7. Yes indeed the Tiger's played there butts off, maybe the best game I've seen a Tiger team play in many, many years, I guess since Buck and Tigerpride played! You men hit the nail on the head though Coach Walt Smith is one heck of a coach, he has these young men confident in there ability and makes each one feel part of the TEAM. But remember also he has assembled a very good set of assistant coaches as well, Coach Lyle's defense in this game was AWESOME man they set the tone on the first drive and continued to be very physical and dominating all night long. And let's not forget this was a very good Moore County team, BIG and PHYSICAL as well, according to what I've read on this site they seem to have an internal problem, I hope they get it solved and make the playoff's as well cause they would definately represent the Region in a strong way.
  8. The final score in this huuuuuge ! Region 6A game was Mt. Pleasant 22 Moore County 6 The Tiger's played the most complete game of the season. Moore County has a very good team and fought the Tiger's hard. The score at the half was 7-0. Go Tiger's! Keep getting better each week and good things will happen
  9. This game will be played at Moore County, and I hope Trojangirl is wrong on her pick this week.
  10. Would like to get everyone's prediction on this very BIG game in Region 6A. MC is reeling with 2 staight losses and MP is coming off a loss at home to C'wood and a big win this week over Chapel Hill.

    REGION 6 A

Mildcatpride, you really seem to be worried about the Mt. Pleasant team? They are young and yes they make some mistakes, but just keep in mind there are several games left in the season and by the time the Tigers head down to your town, you'll see for yourself IF they've made any improvement . Go Tiger's Beat Chapel Hill and good luck mildcats against cornersville.
  12. Mt. Pleasant will host Region 6A foe Chapel Hill this Fri. night. It is a big week for the Tiger's as they must foget the tough loss to Collinwood, and gear up for Homecoming versus the Rockets. The Tiger's will have to keep there eye on the bullseye and continue to get better, they played an excellent, hard fought game against the Trojans and have nothing to be ashamed of. The Rockets have struggled of late and will be coming to MP to play. Get in a good week of practice guy's and continue to work hard and good things will happen for you.
  13. It was a GOOD game, the Tiger's played hard against a very disciplined Trojan team. The Trojan's had a very good game plan and executed it very well. My hat's off to the C'wood Coaches and players for good sportsmanship, and to the Tiger's for fighting hard all night.
  14. It will be an overflow crowd, both Mt. Pleasant and Collinwood will be well represented at this Great High School Football Clash! Nobody will be able to sit the whole game because this game will go down to the wire and be one to be remembered for both great programs. SPEED will abound, the pigskin will change hands in a fury BUT when the final whistle sounds and the players greet in the middle of the field the score board will read: Mt. Pleasant 35 Collinwood 34

    Mt Pleasant ?

You can't discipline a SPEEDY, WILD, WIN THIRSTY TIGER! and now they have tasted v-i-c-t-o-r-y and they like the taste. Now 7 more Region 6A teams will get to look long and hard into THE EYE OF THE TIGER'S......Keep up the good work! work on the mistakes and get better each week.
  16. Your right snowman, and the thing about it is there are no "weak" teams in 6A, every Friday night anybody could knock off anybody and I'm very happy with the way Coach Smith has come in and set the tone for his Tiger's, he's a very competitive kind of guy and challenges these young men every week to get better and cut down on the mistakes of last week, and they do and will continue to do so. But there is one thing you cannot coach and that is natural ability (talent) and there are several Tiger's that possess that God given gift, and there is absolutely no substitute for SPEED and this Tiger team is loaded with it. Time will tell what the rest of the season brings but I for one want to concentrate on 1 game at a time and don't overlook anybody in this Region. Good luck to all 6A teams Friday night.
  17. We all play the same teams in the Region and it just so happens the Tiger's are playing what Wildcatpride calls the "weaker" of the Region to start. Mt. Pleasant will play Eagleville this coming Fri. night away then will embark on the "power" teams of the Region, when after Eagleville they will play Collinwood, Chapel Hill, Moore Co., Huntland, Wayne Co., and Cascade in that order. Great Job Tiger's! Keep your eye on the bullseye and continue to get better each week and maybe you just might knock off one of these "power" teams in what is a very tough Region 6A. :justwrestle:
  18. Oh yea, ya'll cats are speakin' the language. does it get any better than a crisp cooooool Friday night High School Football game in any small town USA. It's especially true here in Mt. Pleasant since it's been awhile. Go TIGERS! And good luck to all Region 6A teams.
  19. I would like to second that motion, and this means you Cardinal fan, as much as you love the game, I can truly say you will enjoy these Tiger's they're for real and really exciting to watch.
