I think that is the best way to say it, very well said. There have been many years that we have gone into this game with very few season wins and come out on top. Same for Huntland. This is one of the biggest games of the season for both teams and you see more heart put into this game by both teams than any other one. I'm a dedicated Raider fan, but I'm certain this will be a close and amazing game. I'm of course pulling for the Raiders in a tight overtime win. As was already said, be sure and get there early! Our stadium fills up fast on Huntland night.

We'll just have to wait another week or two to see about that. I'm sure we have a better chance than you may think.

I don't think it'll be that far of a point spread but I do believe it will be a tough game for the Raiders.

I agree I couldn't believe how many of our fans left before the 4th quarter after getting way too confident to win. I was on the fence all the way until the last second praying Collinwood didn't score again. There for a second I hadn't lost any faith but I did get a little scared for the raiders. Good job both teams. Great Homecoming MC!

You're right... that's in more ways in one the point I was trying to prove. I'm not disagreeing with you at all. I do however believe that some people underestimate the power of some strong willed girls.

Well, if you really want to see how an all girls football game would be! Come to Moore Co. on September 28th and watch our Homecoming Powderpuff Game. That'll give an interesting perspective on how 'stupid' an all girls football league would be.

I see no problem with girls playing. I could name several girls that could get out on our field and hit harder than some of the guys we've got playing. Too many girls won't step up to the challenge though, they just love to make it sound like guys are so sexist. The ones who complain are the most likely ones to be too afraid to play. If we had girls try to be on our football team, I would greatly honour them.

I wouldn't miss this game Friday night for anything! I have faith that it will be quite the fight but Lincoln Co. will shine through in the end with the win!

I have faith that it will be a really good game! I always love watching Tullahoma and Coffee Co. battle it out! I'm going to have to stick with my boys from Coffee Co. for the win though!

I've got to add my input on this... 3 of my favorite rivalries, all rather local to me, and only two have even been mentioned! Lincoln Co/Riverdale Tullahoma/Coffee Co. Moore Co./Huntland - How could this be left out! Not just because it's my school's rivalry. To me it's one of my personal favorites.

What do you think? Are our guys coming back from a horrible season last year? Is it going to be our boys as opposed to our girls in State Champioships this year? Thoughts...

I agree with wingman10 Montoye is a Great coach, and if in fact Price does leave us, I hope Montoye gets it!

I really hope, under the circumstances that this terrible news is true, that they hire Montoye or Christian and then someone new to be Under them. None better for a head coach than someone who already knows Moore County. Look what Christian has done with the Middle school boys. Sure, we're talking high school, but Christian has great coaching talent. I hope whatever happens is for the bettering on MC Football!

Yeah Well if you want to talk about people who need to show a little class... I shall put in my two cents. Last night we played DCA, it was a good game, despite the scoreboard, we fought hard, played good... DCA Fans need to show class... at least the ones that posted that "Dear Raiders" sign... I don't care how good your team is you have no right to get that cocky.. that offended several raider fans, and gave several a good laugh at the lack of class in Some of the DCA people. Don't get me wrong, DCA has great people, but the few who were in on that need to grow up!

I'm going for the Red Raiders by 2 td's!
