Friday according to weather man SUNNY AND 65 DEGREES. What a day for some baseball! Mt. Pleasant will play Marshall Co. in Mt. Pleasant in what should be a very nice test for both. What are some other games to be played Fri.

Mt. Pleasant will have maybe there best outfield in year's this season mainly because of depth. Led by Sr. Josh Grooms in center field with book ends Lee Davis in left and Tarvis Grandberry in right as probable starters these 3 amigo's can really go get the "gapper's". A couple of So.'s Rory Guthrie and Brett Butler along with Fr. Caleb Dugger will push for playing time all 3 of these youngster's has excellent speed as well.

lchsgocatsgo, Central doesn't play Mt. Pleasant because it would be an absolute disgrace to get beat by a small class A school. No they won't even schedule a pre-season scrimmage for the same reason. Pickle is a smart man, I mean think about it? Yes I do believe MPHS could and yes would beat Central NO KIDDING. Face it the Lions don't want to be caught in THE EYE OF THE TIGER!!!

Because roundtripper Columbia Central refuses to play Mt. Pleasant. It would be a disgrace to the mighty Lions to take a whooping from little ole MP.

Mollyk I heard the pre-season tournament for next weekend was on but I'm gonna say I hope one of the Mustangs will come on here and say for sure.

Day in and day out Mt. Pleasant has a very strong rotation. Lance Emmitt: Left hander with NASTY stuff.. Brandon Tuten: This guy is AWESOME!! Bubba Holt: Starter or Relief GETS IT DONE.. Neylan Roberts: When he's on CAN'T TOUCH THIS! Kyle King: Soph. with unlimited potential 6'5" FIREBALLER!

Franklin County will play Thur. 13th @ 6pm yes at the High School field, then Fri. @ 6pm at the Dixie BB field, then again @ 8pm same field. Sat. you will play @ 11 am at same field then @ 3pm at the South Lawrence BB field. Once you get there Thur. you will be able to find out where all the fields are. Good Luck.

Here's the low down for the 5th. Annual St. Patricks Day tournament in Loretto, March 13-15. Pool A: Giles County, Hardin County, Mt. Pleasant Pool B: Adamsville, Forrest, Lawrence County, Wayne County Pool C: Hampshire, Loretto, Moore County, Spring Hill Pool D: Collinwood, Cornersville, Franklin County,Lewis County Should be a great pre-season tournament! Just thinking about my day's of playing and being a tobacco "dipper". I know a lot of you guys use tobacco as do I and it is forbidden on the field. Since this is a open forum do you think you should be allowed or should not? I realize this is a very touchy subject as none of you are of age to buy tobacco but I also know if you want it you get it. If the moderators don't want this topic discussed please feel free to strike it.

You know that's what makes America the greatest. Freedom of speech I think all the posts on this thread are pretty well accurate. Especially dreamstazzy's great job. The corrupt horsepoo that goes on there is sickening. There is a very HOT place for the people who are in charge at MPHS. Satan is a waitin'.

Mt. Pleasant didn't win Field of The Year with smoke and mirror's, the infield is as nice or better than most greens on major golf courses, the outfield is still a little rough but improving. A continued effort is ongoing and it will be better this year. Loretto continues to impress keep up the good work guy's. Haven't seen Giles Co. yet but we will play them home and away this year, so looking forward to seeing there field.

Mt. Pleasant will be 5 deep and never miss a beat.
