  1. I srongly agree with coach bradleys statement because i play football at perry co. and we have worked too hard for somebody to run us down. I am a Wideout and sure i would love too pass the ball but when my team rushes for all most 400 yds i will gladly block the cornerback so we can get a first down. Sure people loved to watch pc and lewis co. play. But lets get real hohenwald is 2A and always has a pretty decent team . But when u have 28 players on your team and hardly any depth its hard to stay healthy and its hard to try to win under most of these conditions. I have faith in my team and myself thats why coach rice changed our schedule around to put us in a position to win some games for a change. So dont run us down b/c u didnt have the chance to play for coach rice and our other good coaches. If u really a "Viking" u would be happy for us and be there this friday nite to cheer us on. I have no hard felling on the person that typed this but i do disagree. Devin Bunch
  2. I think private schools should be in there own district playing each other.People allways complain that private schools are pampered to extreams. So why talk more just get them out of public schools way. They obviously think thier better than other people so make them better by playing each other.then maybe we'll see the real athletes come out to play.

    Perry County!

    who is this candyman ?
  7. I think one of the best is Adam Richardson from Perry county. He plays center field and snaggs up baseballs like a vaccum. He just floats across the field and catches pop flys that would be out of range for most. I have even seen him catch flys that should have been a right or left fielders but got there before they could and that is good.
  8. You should try to contact someone from Perry County 15 to 18 year old teams. They had a relly good team last year and should have a better one this year. They had a relly good record something like 32-12 I am not sure if that is exact but it is close. They have some really potential players on that team. Like Beau Evans from Lexington, Dustin Shanes from Perry Co. and James Curtis from Perry Co. They are all juniors and a great Senior from Perry County is Adam Richardson who plays center field and snags up baseballs like a vaccum. Dustin Shanes is a really good catcher who doesn't let much get by and is hard to steal on. James Curtis and Beau are both really good pitchers and are hard to hit on their on days. You should give them a call.
  9. I also played sweetwater and i'm from Perry Co.We drove 6hrs to play this summer team and when we showed up at the field it was in no condition to play on.We had to help 3 guys rebuild the mound and dig up grass from every inch of the infield. There weren't even any umpires who showed up we had to use fans from the stands to umpire.I believe though they gave us some good competion. The first day the had a few guy's who looked like they never played befor. The second day it looked like they got players out of the wood work. All in all it really wasn't the players fault about the conditions because they were a good group of guy's. they came to our hotel and played cards that night.so the second day was like playing in your back yard. But I hope they do good in the season and good luck
  10. Ok you may not know of him but I know a switch hitting junior catcher from Perry Co.roughly I think last year he finished with a LH@367 and a RH@ 545. I admit he's stronger from the right side but makes better contact from the left. This also helps out his bunting ability from the left side.I'm not a debateing person but you asked the question so i gave my ansewer
  11. We are really looking foward to this summer and looking at last summer this one is goin to be even better. We are a travel team of 15 through 18 yr old's who play pretty much on the road with the exception of a few home games. With the last 3 years looking at a 92& 26 record we accept some of the finest ball players in the mid state. For those of you who are looking for a travel team to play on or don't have a home town team I would suggest you contact one of the following for more info on a travel team oportunity Ron Dunkle @ (931)589 5607 Mike Andrews @ (931)593 2743
  12. In my opinion I am gonna go with a young man From Pc. Dustin Shanes a returning leader comes back for his junior year hacking it from both sides of the plate.Along with a returrning pitching staff this 39&7 summer travel team brings a new game plan to Pc.
  13. i may not be the best at judgeing teams based on thier outfield but who looks at an outfield when the got to a ball game.I myself look at the pitching and the catching since there the two most active positions on the field. but there has been a few catch my eye one i've seen to be the best is Pc's adam richardson, You may never have heard of him but this youngman has made outstanding catches, leaping, diveing, and even fence bounding catches. He is not only good on the recieving but he's got a stong bat too batting lefty he holds a 460 batting avg at the end of last year. It's just really a matter of opinion but this kid goes up for my choice
