I believe that Matt Marrs from PC is one of the best pitchers in the district. He's had some tough luck but for the most part has pitched very well this year.

He stepped on one of his teammates feet and landed on it funny. It fractured one of his toes and sprained his ankle.

Yes, Matt Marrs did break his foot and has a badly sprained ankle. He is probably only out for about another week, and they're thinking he'll be back by the Wayne Co. game.

Kristal Edney is averaging 29 points per game through their first 3 games this season, including 36 against Collinwood. What are everyone's thoughts?

No, Matt Marrs isn't Kirk Haston's half brother, but he did grow up around him. He has improved since last year. He's gotten stronger, and quite a bit quicker. His shot has improved greatly since last year. I look for him to be one of the tops in district 12a this year.

Kristal Edney and Alecia Weatherly from Perry County. No Doubt. Both made All-State Tourney their Sophmore year. Watch out District 12a and Class A as well. Good Luck Perry County, looking forward to another trip to state.

I think John Marrs is one of the best to ever come from Perry County. He was the MVP both his Junior and Senior years and could have been one of the best running backs we've had but didn't run much his Senior year, to keep from wearing him down for defense. Those teams were pretty stacked, some of the best we've had.

Yall are leavin out Matthew Marrs from pc.I don't believe he is the best but he is top 3.And i ain't sayin this just because i am from pc.He has a dang good fastball and lots of off speed stuff.I don't know why but i love watchin him pitch.Maybe his arm will be ok this year where he can show his stuff.Good luck Matt and everyone else on the pc squad. gone

I think pc will be a god team close to tournament time.They haven't practiced much yet.Most of the players are basketball players and haven't been there much.I think we have depth on our pitching.We have Curtis you can pitch well.And Marrs who is prolly one of the best in the district.And Wood who ain't to bad.Then we have many more who can pitch well.I think our outfield will et better.There only problem is they don't get a good jump on the ball.Just go ahead and be ready for pc by the end of the year.They will show up when it counts. gone

I have to go with Perry Co.They are an extremely good team and have came a long way.It will be a close game but at the end Weatherly and Edney will come through for PC.Pv by 4.

it was a rush to be in the middle of it.i think that the cheering sections made the games good.well since we got put out it is up to mainly wc to show what 12a is made of.good luck wc.
