I agree; TSSAA officiating STINKS!!!!!!!!!!! And yeah, ya'll are real big to say, "Let's see you get out there and do the job". My blind grandmother could do a better job than you guys. I know it's hard trying to catch every little thing, but there is a BIG BUT in there. When there is a game going on, and there is alot of action going on (pushing, elbowing, etc...), you need to have the guts to take control of the game by blow you stinking whistles, before a fight starts on the floor. That's not earning your money. You need to stick to your day jobs.

WOW! What a game to watch. It is to bad either team had to lose. The Cubs win in double overtime by two. It was a nice feeling to get the sweep and have second place all to ourself. It was one of the most exciting game I have watched. Sycamore played a great game and showed a lot of heart. Good luck against Creek Wood.

The Cubs Coaching staff and the team could care less about this hype. You have to look at where this progams is going and coming from. Four years ago it was as low as it could be with a 1-20 something record. Coach Jackson is slowy turning it around with a 11-15 season followed by last years 21-11 season. In which they lead the nation and set a state record for team free throw percentage. (77% ranks as 7 all time in H.S. history). They look at the big picture and not a snap shot of one game hyped up year after year. They are just always looking to get better and to work at their game. For some folk that don't know or understand there is a regular season champ and a tournment champ. I have never seen a tssaa plaque for county champ. I don't care about a county champ and I gota feeling nobody else cares to brag about it other then Sycamore. You are only as good as your last game.This is a closed subject for the Cubs. They have to plan and prepare for Harpath and Sycamore for whom ever they are playing. Good luck to both teams!

iI have read all this hype about this game and the fact is it is just one game of many. It is not any deffrent then playing Stewart Co. They are all important. Why were all the fans pouring out with 5:00 left in the game. They don't seem like true fans if they can't stick out a loss from time to time and I guess that County Championship crap is over for Sycamore.

I think It is possible to have Cheatham and Waverley in the Championship game. Johnny Jackson should be a lock for coach of the year. Top five in the district are Nichols, Burney,Dansbey,Vann,Liverett. Best game to watch so far is Harpath and MCHS. Should be a great week.

I thought Ca was one and done last year with a lose at Mcewen in the tournment. I was there and thought that was the case. Maybe I am wrong. Your right, the cougars did a great job last night and sent a message to others on thier scedhule. I know Will Sthal must have hit his lay-ups last night. He has a way of missing open looks. I agree coachReed. Mr. Hill has destroied what was a good program. I don't understand my the board hired him. It was a poor choice. They should have hire John Miller Jr. which is now the football coach at Rossview. If there is any school that wants to kill a sports program hire Mr. Hill. He can get the job done. Why do you throw a good thing away. It is beyond me. Cheatham County is getting the benfits of thier mistake. Coach Jackson, Williams, And Johnson has turn a 1-25 team around to go 11-11 so far this year. Some people are just not smart

When you turn a team around that went 1-25 to 10-11 with the same talent that was there last year that is pretty good. And the cubs have beat good teams this year. I did not say they were the best but the most dangerous. By the way all you have to do is win one game in the district tourny to advance. They will beat creekwood or sterwart in the tourny. They are not garbage.

Cheatham County has suprised many this year. They have come from 1-20 something to 10-11 this year. They have beat Rossview, Waverley twice, and are 7-4 in the district. They are the best in AA but possiably the most dangerest going into the tournement. I think Coach Jackson is the Coach of the year in District 10-AA

What a crazy week? MCHS beats Northeast and then loses to Clarksville Academy. That is why you play the games. I am happy for the players at Clarksville Academy but not the adminstration. I think is horriable the way they forced Coach Jackson and Coach Williams out last year. The Cougars were set to have a great year with Drake Reed, Alex Bowers, Sean Fisher, Jared Procter to be in the starting line up. They could have won the district and the region but thanks to the headmaster the cougars are 1-20. It was a good win and I hope the players do well.

Cheatham won by about 12 pionts. It was an ugly game but creekwood makes you play that way. Noel Smith had a big night and the bench played strong.

Alex Bowers is wasting away in a program going nowhere. He should have left and went were he could have expanded his game. Then he might be mentioned as a top player in clarksville

This should be a great game. The only team to beat waverly in the district is cheatham. Sycamore coaches called it lucky but I think it is all about match-ups. Waverly has the edge in their match-up. The guard match-up is in favor of waverly and I think the post play will be physical and sycamore will have that advantage. The other thin to consider is Coach Jones has never beat the tigers and that gives waverly the mental edge. The tigers will win by 5.

Clarksville Academy over the last three years has taken hugh steps backward in their sports program. You have a football team that is just over four years removed from the Clinc bowl and had eight straight appearances in the playoffs to not even having a team this year. Their boys basketball team has not won a game this year. Over the last 7 years under coach Jackson the boy's basketball team went to the Sectionals and have always went to the regional tournment. In one year they have become the wosrt sports program in the midstate. Everything starts at the top and the leadership from the headmaster has been subpar. His biggest mistake has been forcing out Coach Jackson. Coach Jackson has gone to Cheatham County and turned a 1-27 team around to a 9-11 record the tied for 3rd in their district. My Question is why get rid of a good coach? It is a shame that what took so long to build by many hardworking people has been brought down by one person. Maybe someone will clue in and make a change before it is too late

I think that Waverly will pull it out. I think Barry Jones is 0 for life against the tigers. The key to beating Sycamore is getting deep into their bench. After their top 6 the talent falls way off.

The fact of the matter is that Cheatham has outplayed Waverly twice this year. Waverly might have had bad games but the cubs defence has had something to do with that. I am sorry the Bubba had the flu but I don't buy that is the only reason they lost. Waverly is not a one man team and there are many players that play great when they are under the weather. The cubs have beat other good teams this year. In my opion coach Jackson is the coach of the year at this point in the season. He and his staff have turn around a team that was 1-27 and has now won 8 and lost 11. I know that some fans and coaches still don't want to give the cubs any respect but that is fine. They like being the underdogs. So far it is paing off.
