Yea the game was moved to 7 O'clock on Thursday night at the Corral. I dont know what the weather will be but it may be wet then too.

Can Walker Valley measure up to last years game at Grundy? Who will make the game winning touchdown this year w/out Jonathon Moseley, who will make the game saving tackle now that Danny Rouser is gone? I think it will be a good game. I also agree that whoever wins this game will be the region champions. Plus they are dedicating the track friday night in honor of Coach David Lewis.

Well this is a touchy subject for myself because I am a Walker Valley Lady Mustang fan and being beaten by both of these teams, McMinn Central in the regualr season and region and Livingston by 2 in a heartbreaker game in the substate. Having seen Central play numerous amounts of times, I will have to go with Central. I know we dont get along with them very well but I would like to see them win it.

Well guys Seymour I hear is a good team but I know first hand that McMinn Central is an all-around good team and I believe it will be them and LA in the state championship. From what I have heard, Seymour is a one player team and McMinn Central has a lot of weapons. Central will win this game and eventually play La in the state. Just my guess.

This is the region championship and tehy are fighting for home court in the sub state game, but is there more at stake? Maybe bragging rights for the winning team? This should be a good game. I have seen every game these two teams have played and I havent ever seen a boring game between these two teams and I doubt that this will break the chain. The game is at Chattanooga State at 6:30 AND IT SHOULD be a AWESOME game.

The Raiders are coming off their biggest win of the season, but will their heads be so large they wont be able to fit in the gym? The Mustangs are playin good ball right now and are playing better defense than they have been at the start of the season. Will the home court advantage help the Mustangs any? Who will win and why and who will be the MVP of the game. The girls start at 6 and guys at 730. Get their early because it will fill the gym. Good luck to both teams and hopefully 2 great games.

Gosh this is goin to be an exciting matchup between these two teams. The first game was played excellent by the Chargerettes but I believe that the Lady Mustangs will want some payback for the last game at WV. Walker Valley got beat last time at WV, but WV has been playin top notch ball since the Bradley Central game where they lost by 12. WV is 5-0 since that game and in that span have score 90+ points in 4 out of those 5. I have no clue how good Ooltewah is so I would like some info on them.

My vote for best PA announcer is Jeff Lewis from Walker Valley. He also is announcer at Cleveland State and at UTC. He has a great voice and has some great sayings. But he has a great voice and never talks over free throws or anything like that. Thats why Jeff Lewis from Walker Valley gets my vote for best announcer.

Has anyone heard about Buckalew? I found out that she hurt her back in the Cleveland game and is out 3-6 weeks. I mean thats the next Cleveland game and the Walker Valley game. So does that mean that its gonna be the same Bradley team as last year without Buckalew. I mean she is the team and now that they done have her are they gonna stink like last year?

well as the game showed last night, there was no upset. The Lady Mustangs played very sloppy in the first half but in the second half they came back and pulled away from the Lady Tigers. I cant remember the score but I believe it was a 16 to a 20 point win. Well thats a clean sweep of the Tigers and the Lady Mustangs are just working hard to get some pay back against the McMinn Central Chargerettes this coming Friday at Centea. GO LADY MUSTANGS!!!!!!!!!!!

My vote is with Walker Valley's new head coach Steve Moore. He is completely turning the squad around. He has put some OOHHs in the fans faces this season as he is what I would like to call a basketball mastermind. He has great offense and defensive plays. He will turn it all around. Just give him time. Players will be beggin to play for Coach Moore. I love you Coach.

So what are the complete standings of District 5 AA? Is Walker Valley or McMinn Central on top? Walker lost to them in their first match of the season? Does that mean that it will come down to their next game at Central to see who is going to be district champions? If you have any information on this please post it. Thank you

My votes are with the Bradley Central and Cleveland announcers. They are pathetic and I hate hearing their voices

Now come on. Jackie Pickel is not God's gift to basketball. Yes I know shes good but not near as good as Alyson Butler from Walker Valley. Alyson is a much better ballhandler and a better shooter. Im not taking anything away from Jackie but I have seen them both play a numerous amount of times and I most definantly would replace Jackie with Alyson on those top 10 lists

Listen I go to Walker Valley and have both these teams play. McMinn is a very very good team and can run the floor shoot 3's and even tho the big tall guy isnt that good, they still have Brown and Armstrong. Polk I cant even remember their players and I didnt see any players that can compete with Central. My take is Central by 18 or more
