Lewis County does have a pretty good team returning but with Coach Sharp being diagnosed with cancer that could change things. don't know the prognosis of Coach Sharp but when the C word is mentioned its always a battle. Please keep Coach Sharp in your prayers, Hoping for good results from his treatments

I know you said last 5 years, but I had to go back 6 years to find a game against the old region 5-3a teams. Lewis County defeated Giles county 35 - 7 in 2003

Help me out here alittle, I keep hearing how weak Lewis County's schedule is and how Goodpasture plays the top teams to prepare them for the playoffs but when I look up the schedule strenght for both teams I see that Goodpastures schedule is ranked 2 places below Lewis County's. LC's is 46 and GP's is 48 out of 58 AA schools

Rufus, I am really worried about your infatuation with the Lewis County program. Tell me something, is your program of choice able to say they have been to the state playoffs 16 or 17 straight years and has won as many regional titles during those years, 14 I believe. Correct me if I am wrong, but what difference does it make what round of the playoffs you lose in if you don't bring home the GOLD ball.

Gotta go with Mt Pleasant, after watching the game at LC I think they could be just as good if not better than last year, but MP and LC need to take their mistakes and miscues and learn from them and they both could have very good years.

Glover, that's just Hickman County, their record against Lewis County in the last 20 or so years is 2 - 23.and all those years except last HC was a 4A school. Does Wayne County play LC this year, I heard in W'boro the other day that Coach Rice was dropping LC from their schedule again. From what I saw at the Bruceton scrimmage LC is huge and fast, it doesn't look like there is much of a drop off from last year, if any
