  1. LA has to lose again for york to make it.
  2. Hudson is in a two back set with Law getting some of the carries and TDs. Wilmore is in a one back set and gets the ball more often. That's the reason he scores so many TD's. He is the one who gets the ball inside the 10 yard line. Law gets more of the carries inside the 10 for Macon. Both are good backs, but you can't go by raw stats to judge them.
  3. I know that it would take Jackson beating Trousdale (1 in a 1000 chance) for Smith to not finish 2nd if they win vs York and lose to P-town. Like I said before assume nothing. What happens if TC,MC, Portland, and SC all win this week and then in week 10 YI beats MC, Portland beats SC, and Trousdale wins? "I know that it would take Jackson beating Trousdale (1 in a 1000 chance) for Smith to not finish 2nd if they win vs York and lose to P-town. " SC would still finish 2nd in that scenario. Portland would finish 2nd!! SC and them would have the same record and Portland would have head to head TC would also have 2 losses for a 3-way tie. SC beat TC, TC beat P-town, P-town would have beaten SC. The 1st tie-breaker after head to head is overall record. SC would win over TC and P-town. Read my post again it says if TC loses to Jackson that would give them 3 losses You are right...not possible anyway. like I said 1 in a 1000 but possible

  7. Hey bigB, I guess there aren't any Dragon fans around and the SC fans are being very quiet this week. Hey, LA beat us at home! You think they might be thinking it could happen to them with York coming to town? Talk to us Owls, we're not used to not hearing from you! They may be doing York like they said they did Macon Co. Looking to next week!!!! By the way night chickens, Stiver will run all over ya and make you like it to!! GO LIZARDS!!!!! Why would we be looking to next week when this week clinches at least 2nd. No chance that will happen. Wilmore will outgain Stiver as he has done all year, unless he is out in the 2nd half. How would a win clinch 2nd?
  8. I think I responded on the wrong thread. Someone posted on one of them that if La lost to Upperman and if Portland lost to SC would La make the PO's over Portland.
  9. No LA would have 4 Regional losses. Portland would have 3 if they lose to SC. I'm hoping it comes down where P-town has to win to make the PO's. Makes them play harded vs SC. That helps us. I want to win the Region out right no Asteriks
  10. Funny It was not too funny at the time. I was scared to death. He had bet about 1000 bucks on that game, and when the score was 14 to 0 Portland, I asked him if he wanted to bet (I was just kidding). He was trashing me at the start of the game because I am from Macon and I work at Portland. I was sitting on TC's side with some of my family from Hartsville.
  11. Muffin, what you have against Macon? You have nothing good to say about us. I mean we sold out games in both football and Basketball win or lose not every game but more than most.
  12. Apparently you have never been to a Tiger Basketball Game!!!! There is a reason why the gym seats at least 1500. For Tuesday night road game we normally out draw the home teams.
  13. You haven't watch this team as much as I have. I assume nothing. They could lose to JC.
  14. My only hope is Macon fans don't become like that. It can happen to anyone. Alot of the MC fans on this board are acting cocky (please stop it guys), but trust me they were not fans of this team in 1995 or 1996. When we were alwful. I actually had a TC fan threaten me with a pocketkinfe when Portland played TC. He was running down Portland and I told him portland would win (which they did 52-12). My mother's 2nd cousin is the Sherrif in TC and he had to call for extra Troopers for the MC vs TC game because he though that MC would win and that some of the drunk TC fans would start a fight.
  15. If they lose vs both JC and YI.
  16. I was born in Hartsville. I work in Portland. My English Teacher at Vol State teaches at Smith Co. and I have several freinds there. I went to High School at Macon Co. I can tell you the truth here is that all the schools have a few bad apples. Trousdale and Portland in the last 10 years have seen a decline in Sportmanship. Both have ran up the score other teams and padded their players stats. Some of Portland and Trousdale fans have become cocky and downright rude. I have watched several games involing the teams (not all of them vs MC) and it would be good for them if they both of them had a few lean years like MC and SC have had over the last several years.
  17. You do know that if YI wins, Macon would all but clinch with a win vs JC. Even if they lost to York they would win the Region if TC wins out (which they will).
  18. YI 13 SC 23 TC 77 CC 8 P 58 DC 14 LA 42 U 6 MC 33 JC 9 Blowout week!!!!! A lot of mismatches. MC kicks 11 FG's JC doesn't give up a TD. TC runs up the score on CC (nothing new). LA vs Upperman is close at half then LA takes over. DC scores on P-town's 3rd string. SC leads 20-7 at halftime (YI and SC both miss a PAT in the game).
  19. MC fans help me out here!! Did Clemmon play last year in a cast? I can't remember if it was him or not, I know one of our players play most of the year in one.
  20. You guys are in the same boat a We were 6 years ago. It starts with the kids, they have to want to play. They also have to go into each game thinking they are going to win. They have to be confident every game. Our biggest problem here was that we would start the season with a pretty decent team. Then play Portland or Westmoreland and get creamed 40 something to nothing or worse then it would all snowball from there. Players would quit, coaches would get frustrated, and bad breaks would pile up on you. Fortunally for the program here is we turned that corner with the help of Westmoreland. Westmoreland started to trash talk the players and to rub in the scores at basketball games. The kids got very angry and started to work harded and listen to the coaches. The signs that Westmoreland taunted them with were put up in the fieldhouse as a reminder of that. Modivation and confidence is needed to help build a program. Westmoreland provided the modivation in our case, and after we finally beat them then our confidence went up. It was like "hey guys we can beat them we can beat anybody" now we have started to win game we shouldn't have. Now the kids beleive they can beat anybody and when a bad break occurs like the Smith Co. (SC scores on it's first drive, then We fumble on our 2nd play at the 15) game they come back and win it. The old Macon county team would have gotten beat 50 to nothing in that game but instead won it 21-7. Good luck to you having been there it's a hard thing to accomplish it just takes a few years of hard work by everyone (fans included) to get it done. Just don't get it done too quickly (like this Friday)
  21. MACONCOTGR Nick "THE STICK" Hall is your cousin? I want your autograph!! I coached Nick "THE STICK" in pee wee football. Yea, He played alot and played well to. GO BIG BLUE!!! He's my 2nd Cousin actually, his Father is my first cousin (and my neighbor). I hear he is a pretty good player, but every game I go to he never plays. Just a freshman though plenty of time. I know several players Eric Binion is also one of my neighbors. He plays a lot; he is a hard hitter.
  22. I may go to this one. I am torn on this one a little. York winning would help my Tigers, but it's hard to cheer against a classy team and my Freinds at SC. SC 23 YI 13 Hope both teams stay injury free.
  23. Macon 33 (Kitty with 11 fg's) Jackson 6 score on third team extra point blocked Good news about the JV winning B76. Did my little cousin Nick Hall play much? I have classes at night and can't go to Freshman and JV games.
