I have had the pleasure of watching many of Cookeville game's and your right nesmen2, Orianna Knowlton is one of those rare die-hard softball players. She great talent and has improved greatly since her freshmen year. She has a great attitude, but is a fierce competitor. Her positive, take-charge personality is contagious, so I believe the other girls will be right behind her. I've heard she is working for a ride to any college. Does anyone know who is looking at her and who all is she considering? I know she could get accepted anywhere.

Hey Guys, It softball season again and I was just wanting to know who is going to be the #1 team in the district this year. I hear Cookeville and Riverdale has some new coaching and that Oakland and Blackman have lost some good "key" players. What do you think will be the final outcome of this season? Who are some players that are interested in playing college ball from all the teams? Thanks.

I just want to say that I have not givin up on the Cavs one bit. You guys are gonna do fine in the District Tourny. You're gonna show everyone what Cookeville Baseball is all about. Even though this season has been rough, I am still extremely optimistic about you guys! Coach Hunt, I have to say you have all my respect. It takes alot of integrity to stick with everything that has happened this season. Most people would have given up and lost all hope, but you have hung in there. I know alot of people appreciate you. CAVS...Go out there and show the other temas NO MERCY in the tourny! Good luck.

Does anyone have any game pictures of Cookeville playing? I haven't been able to make it to some of their games and i was interested in some live shots. If anyone does have any, please post them. I appreciate it!

No. It was cancelled on account of rain. I think it has been moved to this coming Friday.

How did Cookeville do in that tournamnet in Monticello, Ky? Who were some of the players that played really well?

i was looking forward to watching some of cookeville's games this year but i have to say i'm disappointed. i dont think it has anything to do w/ the coaching either. lets go guys! if want to be called baseball players, start playing like them. i find the softball team more entertaining! Get out there and slaughter Warren County!

I think, Oriana Knowlton, the catcher from Cookeville is pretty good. She has great aim and can throw. I haven't seen anyone steal on her and actually be "safe". I hear she's only a Junior, which means she should be amazing her Senior year.

I know that you have to have good offense to win games, but do you think that defensive plays are more important and should be praised more? just wandering.

Who is by far a better pitcher? Wade Bilbrey or Michael Alcorn? I've heard nothing but great comments about them both.

cookeville's #1 pitcher was away on family business. but the line-ups were mixed w/ jv and varsity in most of the games.

Cookeville did alright. They had some good pitching, but their bats just werent there. Sequatchie-13-0(w) Warren County>3-1(w) Whitwell>0-2(L) Warren County>4-3(w) I think they did okay, But its still early.
