KS with some real early predictions, I like it! MC has several talented players returning and are always well coached, Waverly has about 9 SR lead by the Lefty Purcell and are well coached. 2 pretty good teams to b 4th and 5th. CW has only 2 returning starters and lost 85% of it's innings due to graduation. They are working hard at staying competitive, Unreal schedule, Coach Clapper does a solid job with his talent base. Cheatham will be better and Stewart Co. can win any given day especially N Dover. Camden returns a bunch of talented kids that played well towards the end of last season. They will be contenders. Harpeth is hungry to play for Hardware and make Regions. Top 5 teams may be as strong as I have seen in last decade. Lots of returning talent throughout 11AA! I would not be surprised to see a 11AA team playing in a Sectional and going to Murfreesboro! It should be REAL FUN! Looking forward to getting started! C YA at the Yard!! First 11AA post of 2011, I amlooking for overall and district records to this point . I have CW and Stewart Co. Last week of regular season coming up with district meeting next Friday and MORE inclement wether coming in = VERY interesting week. I think Camden has 4 games left! See ya at the Yard!! ROP!!

Not sure of district standings can anyone help me. I know Creek Wood is 6-16 5-6 in 11AA. Lost a thriller in Camden last night 58-57. CW has a Mon.2/7 at fairview, 2/10 vs. Northwest for SR. Night and 2/11 vs. Harpeth(hoops homecoming) to conclude regular season. Of course all that depends on Mother Nature! Camden folks said they had 4 district games to play next week. Holy Cow it will be an interesting District Meeting if weather doesn't cooperate. Could fans coaches anyone post overall and district records with games remaining. Should be an awesome district tourney! C ya at the Yard! ROP!!!

Creek Wood at Waverly cancelled for 1/21. They will try to play tomorrow at 4!

. First off GO DC! I would say that several fans that would go to DC games now attend Creek Wood. Attendance has been awesome for the in county game between DC and CW. I would look for a huge crowd with lots of Red Hawk fans there in support of the Cougars. Classic battle between two powers, just hop in for a great game!

How can one say the your team is better when they only meet once besides the possibility of playing in playoffs in the entire year of 2010 in high school football and you lose by 5!!!! Jus Sayin!!!!!Being the better team in losses dont get U N!!!! Is Wavo wins in the playoffs then they will be better, but 4 now it has to be CW!!!

Creek Wood bounces back in the William Workman and beats Hickman KY 10 -4. The Red Hawks play Mason, Ohio at 12:45 at rossview and Northwest at 4:45 at Northeast today. AWESOME weather for the next 7 days. Lets play Ball. Last nights Harpeth and Christian Co game was a classic, both teams played HARD and both arms threw well. Shameful the game had to be stopped late to get the fans(parents) of BOTH teams to stop bickering between each other. Let the KIDS be the focus point. Everyone be safe and Peace!!!

Creek Wood went 1-2 in Wilson Co. Invite. Played poorly defensively on Friday and lost to Station Camp 8-3 and was run-ruled by Host Mt. Juliet 13-0. Came back Sat. with a nice 4-2 win over Fanklin. Sherrill threw well D showed up. We stand at 4-5 and 2-0 in 11AA. What is everybody's records overall and in district thus far. Who plays who this week. Help me out folks. PEACE-OUT!!!!

They did play. Mont. Central won. Good Luck to all teams Tues and next week in Region play. i thought it was one of Coach Taylor's best jobs ever as a coach at Creek Wood. Handling his bench and dividing minutes with the bigs in foul trouble and the change to the 1-3-1 extended taking away open 3 point looks and givin baseline drives to Dotson in 4th was quality call. Harpeth deserves large compliments for bringing it to the Wood. Coach Wilson had them boys playing HARD all night. I thought for awhile Hyndman and #12 were in Franklin at State wrestiling tourney for awhile. Soiid job by the Indians of Harpeth and MC. CW survived on a night where they were in position to be upset. Tournament basketball is Fun!!!

Purcell has a District 11AA MVP on his resume and has played a lot of quality travel ball. He is indeed crafty with the ability 2 mix 3 pithches. Very difficult to tell the difference in his chang-up and his fastball, arm action is the same. I will predict him to be 82-84 or better this spring. Tought to beat when healthy. 11AA will be tough. Speaking of tough is the weather we r havin this winter. Opening day today and i can't get out of the house. We(CW) have to replace 7 position players, but do return 5 SR. arms that we will lean on heavily. Very unproven after those 5. SR. arms are Michael Donaldson(Roane St. sign.), Blaine Hooper, Josh Cox, Taylor Sherrill, and Ethan Bumpus. Should be a fun district race just not 2 day. HAHA! PEACE-MADDAWG!

Why is Sat. night out of the question for Cubs Tigers make-up???? Tourney is scheduled to start Monday. District meeting Friday in Ashland City, should be interesting.

Will anyone get to play tonight? It just now quit hammerin snow in Slayden with 6 inches on ground. Running out of regular season time without pushing back District tourney. We will do good to get a bus to go to games Thursday at Mont.Central.
