Fridays DH begins at 5pm.

Blackman at Warren Co has been postponed until Thurs 4/10 at Warren Co starting at 6:30pm.

Cascade at Forrest has been postponed until Thur 4/10 at Forrest starting at 7:30pm.

As of right now, the Lincoln Co-Coffee Co DH has been postponed until Thur 4/10 at Lincoln Co at 4pm. This will be 2 varsity games. If they don't play Thurs, then I think they will play 2 at Coffee Co on Friday. Also Shelbyville-Franklin Co has been postponed until Thurs 4/10 at Franklin Co starting at 4pm with 2 varsity games.

Coffee Co may play 2 varsity games at Lincoln Co on Wed beginning at 4:30pm.

Lincoln Co at Coffee Co and Cascade at Moore Co have been postponed. Cascade at Moore Co has been rescheduled for Sat 4/19 at 4pm.

Todays game with Page at Unionville has been cancelled.

Congratulations Coach George on your accomplishment. Coach Mathis was at the house this afternoon and we were talking about you. As Coach Mathis enjoys being AD at Tullahoma, I think he misses coaching. You've been a great coach for many years and a great person. I've enjoyed what games I've umpired over the years for your program and I respect you and your coaching staff. There's something to be said for your loyalty to Marshall Co. If and when you decide to retire, we could use another good umpire in this area. Coach Mathis keeps telling me he wants to umpire. Keep up the good work Joe. Lawson Binns Jordan

I think most prognosticators had Tullahoma, Franklin Co and Columbia as the top 3 teams going in to the season. As of right now, Coffee Co, Lawrence Co and Shelbyvile are the top 3. Its a typical 8AAA season. This district is very balanced, year in and year out. Several big games left and who knows what will happen.

The Forrest-Richland game on 3/18 was rained out. They will play a DH at Forrest on 4/8 with the first game starting at 12:30pm.

Gordonsville plays at Boyd Christian tomorrow(Tues). Its a 4pm DH to played at Warren Co High School. It was supposed to be a home game for Gordonsville, but they couldn't get their field ready.

They play the rematch at Chapel Hill, Thur 4/3 at 4:30pm.

Tullahoma was impressive beating Germantown Sat, but so was Lincoln Co, beating Hendersonville and Oakland. This could be an exciting series between the Cats and the Falcons.

Columbia at Shelbyville and Franklin Co at Coffee Co will play one varsity game at 6pm and Moore Co as Cascade has been rained out.

Richland is 8 or 9-0 including the pre-season tourney at Cascade.

The game was played at Cornersville.

I was just informed by the mother of the Moore Co boys coach, Lavon King, that the games tonite in the 11A tourney at Cornersville have been postponed. Moore Co was scheduled to play Richland tonite at 8:30pm.

I don't think anyone has to worry about high school baseball this season. It looks like all the games will be rained out.

Thanks for the replies and I apologize for getting his first name wrong. I saw Tullahoma play Spring Hill and the Cats had a fine team, but they couldn't stop Hoath. Spring Hill that nite stopped themselves and if their defense had played well, they would have won easily. I was shocked to see that he hadn't signed a football scholarship.

Wasn't the Hoath kid from Spring Hill a senior. I haven't seen where he signed a football scholarship with anyone. He was one of the most exciting players I saw last Fall. Anyone know any info about him?

CoachT, those are my sentiments exactly. I have read all the posts also and nothing tasteless in any of them. The people who have posted seem to know the game and have shown a lot of class.

I've looked at all the brackets in all the classifications and this first round match-up between two 9-1 teams is the best in the state(record wise). There is one team, McMinn Central, who won only one game and made the play-offs. Tullahoma goes 9-1 and finishes 3rd in the Region. Go figure. This game should be a great one and the winner gets to play, most likely, Hillsboro. Won't that be fun.

I hear White House has a fine football facility. I'm looking forward to the game. If anyone knows Jared Garshnick, tell him to come up to the pressbox before the game and ask for Binns.

Has the TSSAA handed down any suspensions on the Springfield football team for last weeks brawl with Maplewood? Just wondering. This could make a difference in Friday nites game with Whites Creek.
