well . . . looks like central pulled both games out . . . won 8-0 and 6-5 . . . good job boys . . . came down to the very end of the game . . . could've easily went down as a win for either club . . .great game by both sides . . . im sure you guys will meet again before the year is over

guesswho . . . im not making anything up when i say they hammered the baseball . . . you said it yourself man . . . maybe mcminn's pitchers didn't bring their best stuff or maybe they were tired . . .but either way . . . they didn't walk in eighteen runs . . .central hit the ball . . . get YOUR head in the game

maybe so guesswho but i think you said yourself that mcminn central hit the daylights out of the ball i think it was so don't throw that loss off on your lack of depth on the mound. central's pitchers walked the batters against bradley. . . mcminn's pitchers threw strikes but central hammered it back at them. different story with bradley then it was with mcminn

central got the first one today at home 11-1 in five innings

HallsOf12 :i dont know how well that works-they lost every game in the tourny i believe. Mcminn Central beat Jefferson Co. 6-5 and they tied Gibbs 6-6 after 8 innings.

the games were 4-3 and 3-1 both wins being centrals

how does sweetwater high school look this year? they open up a two game series with Mcminn Central tomorrow night and i was just wondering how the two teams would fair off against each other?

yeah ha ha ha that was a good one . . . "looks like they're already beat because they don't know who to guard" well we obviously did because we have kicked their tails all the way back to Portland and i think they'll be sitting at home while we're playing for the title

Mcminn Central had an off year last year and with the addition of a new coach this year, how do you guys think they will fair off against walker valley (I'm trusting that these two teams will probably be the teams left in the district) and please post if you have an honest opinion and don't just play for one of the two teams and running your mouth. . . thank you

i know they beat central . . .but it was a fluke. . . they should've never won that game. . .they played at the top of their game. . .and central played below the deepest depths of their game so i dont see them going real far

Does anyone know anything about Mcminn Central's freshmen team? Had some good varsity teams in the past. . .just wondering how the younger guys looked?

our freshmen played soddy and there wasn't anyone on that team throwing anywhere close to 80 . . .we might not have seen their ace but whoever it was wasn't hitting 80 or mid 70's for that matter

Does anyone know anything about Cleveland's freshmen team? How do they compare to other teams around?

I was just wondering what all the hype over Soddy Daisy is? . . .sure their pretty big. . .but as long as you have a defense and can make a few hits then you can beat them. We played them and they made alot of errors and we were able to scratch up alot of runs on a few hits. Their good but nothing like everyone says they are.
