  1. Elrod is at Cumberland University. Hemontoler is at Hillsboro. Kirby is still there. Jacobs, unfortunately, has passed away. And yes, Mantooth is now the head coach at Franklin Co.
  2. CoachF. Give me a call tonight. Do you still have the opening?
  3. Let me know when the ceremony is so I can make plans to attend. Travis is my hero.
  4. Warner is about 6'9". Does not play very hard. Needs physical strength badly. Soft touch. Does not look to bang inside EVER (does not hold his seal on the block.) Anyone his size can guard him. If he became more aggressive, he could turn into a decent low D-1 post. Nothing more, nothing less.
  5. How are the Champions shaping up for this Friday? Good luck.
  6. Good luck, Coach F. I'm rooting for ya.
  7. Vols-4-me, how are the Champions shaping up for the big Forrest game tonight? How is it going down in the big town? I am relocated to Hillwood. Give me a yell.
  8. Big Poppa, I thought I would answer your question on a new thread since I am trying to distance myself from MJ. I have not been able to get back on anywhere else so I am currently unemployed. If you know of any possibilites, please let me know. KD
  9. Hey coach, have you heard anything from Cumberland? I know an unemployed former coach who is willing to be an assistant for you. Just ignore the stab wounds to my back. Call me if you hear anything. KD
  10. You can find Jody playing softball for the Vipers just about any weekend in middle Tennessee. He still lives in Gallatin. He has had a lot of misfortunes in his life, but seems to be doing better. I talked to him last week. Great guy and good friend.
  11. Jeff Arms is a law enforcement officer in the Cookeville area. That is him hitting the long ball. He plays open major softball as well. Jeff Arms could jump with ANYONE. He was part of a threesome at Celina during that time. Joey Coe, Tracey Strong and Arms all scored over 2000 points from 1983-86. Sylvester Gray was a three time all-state b-ball player for the late coach Branch at Bolton. He went on to play two years at Memphis State before signing with an agent and turning pro after his sophmore year. A couple of years with the Miami Heat and he was gone. No idea where he is now.
