Hume-Fogg came up short tonight, and even though they were getting beat so badly, they kept fighting. They weren't hitting their shots, but they never gave up. I saw a great amount of heart from a lot of their players tonight. Portland played a great game... they couldn't miss. It seemed like everything they did worked.

Rahobk, you might be one of the most ignorant people in Tennessee. Station Camp in no way has shown that they can beat Hume-Fogg ever. A 40 point win and a 16 point win somehow conveys to you that they can beat Hume-Fogg. Be real. You must have something against Hume-Fogg cause in the AA Mr. Basketball thread you said Hume-Fogg got lucky to get the win at Station Camp and that Harriford didnt lead his team. He had like 33 points. You need to learn something about basketball cause I think you're watching another sport. Holla back when you ready to give some insight worth listening to.

RAHOBK, first off Hume-Fogg wasnt lucky to get the win against Station Camp, the first time they beat them by 40 or so points. Just because they only beat them by 16 the second time means nothing. They had an off shooting night and if I remember correctly Harriford put up 33 points rahobk.

I heard about a basketball showcase type thing that the coach at Northeast High put together. I heard there were some good players there like Wadel Williams, Jamar Jenkins, Mike Sampson, etc... could you shed some light on this. How did it go and who were the top performers. Thanx.

Gomab, I cant believe you would list David Lipscomb and Portland from district 8AA without listing Hume-Fogg. Hume-Fogg won the distric tournament last year for 8AA. They have a lot of talent coming back this year and will be one of the teams to beat in AA ball. In fact this summer they beat some good teams like Elizabethton and 5A Collins Hill from Atlanta. Please rethink your decision on your rankings. THANK YOU.

Who are the top players in the midstate, why?

Hume-Fogg out of district 8AA is going to be fighting for the top spot in their district. They have a very good team and have potential to go far in post season play. Last Year they went to semifinals in their region and they are better this year.
