  1. I'm not grilling. This is absurd. I give up. Goodbye. . .
  2. Ok, did Coacht give that to you to copy and paste into every single post you make? I'm seeing that several times on here, and it's even worse than the back handed not-really-answering-your-question answer that a politician would give. Let me make myself clear ONE MORE TIME: I understand the pay policy. I am NOT an idiot. I think paying for use of this website is a great idea. I have ALWAYS thought it was a great idea. I fully understand the financial obligations that coacht is under. I fully support Mr. Thompson being able to provide for what he does on this website -- he IS a teacher, and teachers don't have wads of cash to hand out. (Please notice the overbearing, fed-up sounding sarcasm in the aformentioned thoughts.) BUT, my question has NOTHING to do with all of this. What I want to know is how one justifies the football forum being open when other in season fall sports are not. In my opinion, Football should not be opened until the beginning of August when the season truly does start. And for the sake of coacht better supporting this website, Football SHOULD be closed until August, because it is such a popular thread. By closing Football more people will desire a + membership to talk about Football when no one is actually playing football.
  3. Question : If football is in-season because of spring practice, wouldn't that make girls' soccer, volleyball, and golf in-season too (or even basketball - they have spring-sumemr practice)??? Either open up the other boards that are in-season with football or lock football up. That's discrimination against the smaller sports. If you want more people to sign up for + memberships, then take away something they want. That's the only reason many people use this site anyway, is to chat about football. And if it's open year-round because it's in-season, most people won't see a need to pay any money.
  4. Yeah, and Andrew Park uses two screen names to try and back himself up. Notice the 50 in mofototo and lionfans. It's the same guy, trust me. Don't listen to him, he doesn't know what he's saying. Trust me, Andrew, you ain't cool for using two screen names, or even talking up storm about Harding being state material.
  5. seriously lionfans - don't talk up a bunch of crap about our teams. You don't do track and so you shouldn't speak. Our team has got talent, but NOTHING has been proven yet. Don't tell every one that we're state champ material, our guys will do any talking that is necessary. When you try and talk smack like that, it just makes us look bad. You are not a real Harding fan or you wouldn't say crap. If I find out who you are... To our 4x100 relay - I hope you guys run hard this season and succeed in all you wish to accomplish. Good luck to you guys. Go Lions!
  6. scout - The closest situation would be Brentwood Academy, and that's not even a good one, because it didn't even appear to be recruiting. BA was only sending out practice letters to kids who already signed a contract. Good point...
  7. TN has never had good high school refs...
  8. West Region: You can't count out Harding. I think we've got a decent shot this year. I bet we can make it into the post-season. My top three are: 1. CBHS 2. ECS 3. Harding I think third is up for grabs, so hopefully Harding can snag it.
  9. FrankL - this thread was started at relatively the same time as another similar thread, on the football board. Same figures, same everything. Are you also mafiaman?? You know that those stats you told are purely fictitious and in no way could be true. I think you are just trying to start a heated argument. This thread should be locked because it is only out to stir up trouble, not genuinely debate a controversial topic. Please lock this thread before it gets out of hand.
