The team is way down and so are the numbers. I like Coach Thaxton but I think it may be time for some changes in the program. Maybe McDaniels would come and coach for the home team. NOT!

I have heard a rumor that Coach Thaxton may be stepping down to accept the position of principal? Is this true? I know Coach has had some health problems since coming to Gainesboro but is he really getting out of coaching? If so who will be our next head coach?

his wife told my sister he coached something like aau in virgina or w virgina but not jr high ball. this man will lie about anything. you guys need to find out why he was fired in gainesboro. i hope you hire him you guys really deserve to have him coaching all them sports in celina. well keep coe, shes the only good thing to come out of celina in years.

Whats wrong with out football program? Will we ever turn this thing around? sure we beat monterey but weve lost all the other games. even dekalb and canon co beat us. yeah we play a tough schedule in our region but we gotta be able to beat some of these teams. maybe portland iand trousdale are just to tough but we cant even beat cannon co. what do we have to do to win games?

12 Im happy you guys are winning games but I get tired of hearing how you beat the crap out of this team or that team and you havent beaten anyone good or even average. we beat Monterey and they aint nothin with out their big tb. we aint very good this year and yall aint much better than the last two years and if youd played anybody any good you wouldnt have won but one or two games. If youd played Livingston or Yorkor most any of those teams you played the last two years insted of all those first year teams youd be maybe 2-6. You guys can think your all that stuff but your just the same old crap. Were not any better but at least we now it. I like our coach and I feel sorry that he lost his home but we aint gonna be very good as long as hes here and after all those seniors leave celina you boys aint gonna be worth crap. sorry but its the truth.

jordan4 you must be an idiot. celina hasnt beaten anybody who is good and havent even been close with anybody good. lets look at who they played this year. they beat the worst rbs team ive seen in a decade and thats bad because they havent been very good ever. they beat two jv teams with their varsity teams pickett co and temple who are both first year programs who cant play in the playoffs and who are not in any region. So you beat up on some new pups like heritage and you beat a very bad monterey team. But you lost to freindship and watertown and gordansville will beat the dog snot out of you. they will not have any mercy on you and it will be ugly. come back on here and talk trash when you beat somebody good. if you dont beat mt juliet by at least 3 or 4 touchdowns you aint nothin.

i think freindship watertown and gordansville will be the top three teams. clay and montery will be fightin for 4th. clay should win four or five games because there schedule is very weak. montery is down and they may slide to 5th.

you dogs are sure happy about beating a jv football team. our coach says they dont even have a real varsity schedule yet and wont be a tssaa team for 2 more years so you boys pounded a jv football team with your varsity. im sure you boys are happy about the win but it wont be easy to beat the real teams on your schedule.

My guess is Smithville must be better than last year and I think they got a chance at winning the game. This may be the only game they win this year but I think they can win this one if they work real hard.

I am from Gainesboro and when I was younger we had to play against david lipscomb and goodpasture. it was totally unfair and we were blown out every time. these schools can get kids from all over nashville and we didn't stand a chance. I just think the private schools should play against each other.

1. Gordansville 2. Freindship 3. Watertown 4. Celina or Monterey 5. RBS

Well, it wasnt the blowout you guys predicted.

Blue Devils, keep working hard and you will improve. Don't worry about this three way scrimmage game. You guys are going to get better, I promise. Do what coach King says and you'll be better. Baseball requires a lot of patience and time and you guys will be winners. Look how far we've come in the last five years! Look how nice our field is now! Think about what it used to be like! We should all thank Coach King for all of his hard work.
