Marshall County was a really strong team last year. We played them in the regional tournament and their pitcher was one of the best we faced all year. We hung tough and it was 0-0 in the bottom of the 6th when they scored on a two-out hit. They were very fundamentally sound and well coached. I wouldn't be surprised if they won it all again.

Hey Noggin, You seem to know alot about the Rebels. Was Coach Welker that real good player that played for the Rebels back in the 90s? If so, it was a smart move by Coach Bramlett to get him. They make a fine staff. It's all about teamwork. High Five!

The Green team is punting. The snap is low and the punter scoops the ball off the ground and then steps to punt. He gets the punt away and then is knocked down by a linebacker who went for the block. Is it: Penalty for running into kicker or No penalty because ball hit the ground?

Yes. The Rebs, in my opinion, are playing better ball compared to last year. They split their first two games, then went 0-2 against the two best teams on their schedule. They are off this week, before finishing up with six games. I think they will be competitive and win one or more of these contests.

It was a very competitive game. Marshall County scored the winning run on a bloop hit over the second baseman's head with two outs in the bottom of the sixth.
